The only star deduction is the assembly. It’s not difficult to assemble per se, but you’re going to need another person and it might be frustrating at some points. That may also just be any bookshelf. I love these so far, I’ve only gotten one together in about an hour and mostly with one person. However the shelf is very sturdy and looks modern and sleek, I can’t wait to set up my books and add a photo!

You will need two people to assemble this. You might be able to do it with one but it will take you hours. It’s also not advised but my husband uses his power drill which made it speedy! They are amazing and I highly recommend!

Purchased these mainly because I can’t put shelves on the walls. Assembly was easy and the instructions were clear (be sure to have a drill to speed up the process). The material was strong. Once I put together and added my decorations to it, the product exceeded my expectations. Did I mention the price was a steal??? Cuz it is when you compare to other.

I have been eyeing these shelves for well over a year and when the price dropped as drastically as it did, I jumped at the opportunity and purchased them. I'm so glad that I did! First, they're quite sturdy and were fairly esy to put together. They also look fantastic. Its so hard to find ladder style bookshelves and this price you can't beat it. They are now holding my Funko Pop collection and will be holding some books as well. Definitely would recommend. Cute and functional.

I purchased these to balance a huge wall and they worked great! Easy to assemble (use a drill ) there are a gazillion screws. But all were lined up properly and no curse words were needed during assembly. I was able to assemble both in under an hour. All parts and hardware arrived in good shape.

These shelves are amazing. Blown away by the craftsmanship because when putting them together all the pieces seem to go together like butter and just requires a screwdriver. The frames are metal and the shelves are a nice black wood. Better than expected for such a great price. Will likely be buying more for other rooms and will be looking into other items that go with it (computer stand and TV stand). If you are in the market for ladder shelves, look no further, these ones are great!

These are excellent shelves. They do take a few hours to assemble. However, once assembled, they are very sturdy and sleek looking. None of the pieces were damaged. I'm very happy with how solid and sturdy they are. I also quite like how the ladder style leans back at an angle just slightly enough that I have zero concerns about it falling over. I've been waffling back and forth on whether to buy these for months, and I'm now wishing I'd gone for it earlier.

Beautiful shelves and at a perfect price... I'm thinking about getting another set! Well made and easy to put together in good lighting I suggest using some glow in the dark paint to illuminate the holes when lining up the holes to attach the shelves to the rails. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver to attach the rails with the screws. It calls for 2 people when puttering it together yet I did it by my self successfully! I put the shelves together and stood the top and bottom shelves on their sides and attached the rails to the top and bottom shelves then attached the middle ones one at a time... Carefully flipped it over and attached the other rail! I did this for the other shelf and they both turned out perfect!

These are strong, solid shelves, perfect for any kind of storage or just a place for the cats to sleep and hang out on. They are fairly easy to assemble and are pretty sturdy. I have four cases of canned goods on each shelf and they're holding up just fine. The set I'm putting together now will primarily be window seats where the cats can sit and watch the birds.

Very sturdy and despite their simplicity, they are quite attractive with an exceptional price. Assembly is fairly easy. One person can put it all together, but two people can put them together in a breeze. HIGHLY RECOMMEND A POWER SCREWDRIVER! Would have taken me much more time to assemble and a few hand blisters had I not had one. Electric screwdrivers are not expensive, and in this case, well worth the investment. Both came in one box and well packaged. There are no "extra" screws, so keep track of them all. Overall, an excellent buy!

These shelves are the perfect touch for any room! I love the look of ladder shelves and these are perfect! They seemed slightly taller than what I thought and measured but they are perfect height. The instructions for assembly are pretty straight forward, just be sure to definitely know the direction of some of the larger shelf backs.

Hands down, a great purchase. The shelves are easy to put together (and disassemble if you need to) and you get two in one pack! Bonus! They're really durable, have minimal to no shake on the shelves and definitely hold well on their own. And it's really hard to argue the price. They look great, and are extremely well made.

Very well made. I have all 4 shelves of one ladder stand filled with my books. The only complaint is the first three shelves do not have much of a lip to hold books in from the sides, I suppose this could easily be fixed by placing a long book across the out part of the shelf. other than that they are pretty and very stable. Some of the holes did not line up right but that was an easy fix and something to be expected in any product you have to put together, seems like there is always at least one one that doesn't line up. They are sturdy, stylish, inexpensive, and well made.

had a good deal on these and we wanted something for our living room to match our decor and these fit the bill perfectly. Easy to put together, I did it by myself with a few kids and cats distracting me and still only took about 15 mins to assemble. SHelves are pretty cheap but the metal bars are heavy and offer great support, perfect for books, movies and videogames.

The box they came in was super heavy. Which isn't a bad thing just something to possibly consider. I hade to open it and take it up the stairs in pieces. It was pretty easy to assemble. The instructions were easy to follow. Someone can for sure do it all on their own, but having help will speed up the process. The shelves seeem sturdy. I really do love them. They helped my room look even better

Outstanding value !! I have recently downsized to a smaller house, and I am trying to make the most of less space without breaking the bank. These shelves are sturdy, solid, perfectly sized, easy to assemble, attractive… all at a remarkable price. One minor piece of advice - make sure you have a large workspace before you open the box. At nearly 5’ tall when complete, the individual parts are long and a tad unwieldy until it starts coming together.

So I was looking for unique shelves to display for a sort-of 'contemporary' but old school theme...these were it!...There's another one just like this...and its make of real wood...but from a distance you cant tell with these...and for the price, you can two? That's just crazy! It took my mom and I about 2 hours to put these together.
