About the Author

Peter Mutabazi is an author, single dad, and viral foster parent known online as @fosterdadflipper. He is the founder of Now I Am Known, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting vulnerable children. For more than twenty-five years, Peter has worked with global charities to improve the lives of children in need. As a foster parent, he has welcomed more than forty children into his home. He and his family live in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Pat Zietlow Miller is a New York Times-bestselling children's book author and one of the creative forces behind the blog Picture Book Builders, where she reviews books for young readers and offers writing advice. Her picture books include Be Kind, Be Strong, and See You Someday Soon. Pat lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with her husband and two pampered cats. She has two grown daughters.

Tamisha Anthony is an illustrator and a former educator at the New York Historical Society and Harlem School of the Arts. She writes for Uppercase magazine and is an instructor for Make Art That Sells. Tamisha lives in Nacogdoches, Texas.
