About the Author

The Institute of Earthquake Forecasting (IEF) of the China Earthquake Administration (CEA) is focusing on research of the theory, methodology, techniques, and application countermeasures of earthquake forecast based on geology, geodesy, geochemistry, space electro-magnetism, remote sensing, and seismology. For more than half a century, China has carried out a wealth of seismic scientific investigations, and more than 200 case studies of M>=5.0 earthquakes have been summarized.
