What can't these be the same size pieces?

Usually bright in color, fresh in appearance. But the size is SO wildly inconsistent. Every bag has a giant piece, a few bite size, and a bunch of fines. What's the point of a steam in bag if some pieces end up crunchy, and others mush. And I have to end up cutting 1/2 the bag into smaller pieces to eat?

Super picky broccoli fanatic here

I craved broccoli for 3/4 pregnancies for whatever reason, and even a few years postpartum I still have to have raw broccoli daily.
