Description

Instead of heavy wood and plaster, Cardinali frames use polystyrene Renewal Core. As a result, each frame is lightweight and strong, allowing you to easily hang and install it yourself. The Brisbane style features a raised, Baroque-style classical leaf design. A traditional bead pattern along the inner edge helps to define the frame border while adding texture and visual interest. Recesses in the carving have a darker patina, creating depth and interest while also giving the frame an antique look. The frame features a 1/2" rabbet depth, which securely holds a 3/4-inch canvas when using offset clips (sold separately). Please Note: These frames do not come with glass, glazing, or backing.
