Designers Fountain Carmine 1 - Light Wall Light in Matte Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Carmine Brushed Nickel Wall Sconce from Designers Fountain® is absolutely gorgeous! I placed mine in the hallway to add some extra visibility at night. I just love the etched glass! It emits such a warm and welcoming light through it. It's so much more pleasing than the often stark light that comes through clear glass. And I find etched glass to be so very beautiful too. I also really love the brushed nickel fixture. Not only is brushed nickel one of the most durable finishes available, but it also adds a real touch of authentic, classic elegance to any room, hallway or corridor. And no matter how you have your home decorated, brushed nickel will always fit right in due to its subtle sophistication. Plus brushed nickel is so much easier to keep clean of smudges, watermarks and fingerprints than other finishes like chrome. Just wipe with a soft cloth or sponge and they're gone. Installation of this wall sconce is fairly simple too with the step-by-step, detailed instructions and the mounting hardware that are included. My husband had our sconce up and working in no time. And the only thing extra I had to pick up for this wall sconce was a medium based lightbulb 60 watts or less. This sconce is also damp location rated meaning it can be hung in moist places like bathrooms, basements and even covered porches. I would love to get a couple more of the Carmine sconces and place on either side of my bathroom mirror. And after seeing how lovely this Carmine Brushed Nickel Wall Sconce looks in my hallway, I am definitely looking forward to purchasing more items from the Carmine Collection! Highly recommended!

It was easy to install and gives a very updated and clean look that I was Going for. The light is just bright enough to light up our hallway, but not too bright that it’s blinding. It gives off plenty of light and I love the white frosted glass on it! Instillation wasn’t hard, my fiancé was able to do it himself in about 30-45 minutes with no problems!

We put it up in our stairway and it lets off the perfect amount of light to illuminate the stairs down into the basement. The matte black goes really well with our farmhouse decoration theme. I am very pleased with my new light.

When I put this wall sconce up in our hallway it made it look so much better. It added a little Touch of Class to our place. My wife is in love with it. The light comes out off of a rectangle plate, that has a matte finish.The cylinder light globe looks great.
