Great hair bands for thick long hair

They're comfortable to wear all day, with zero pinching or pulling, and they actually deliver on the "thick hair" promise — my hair stays put and holds its shape without sliding or loosening. What really won me over: I accidentally left a couple of these in my pocket and they went through a full wash and dry cycle. I expected them to be beat up, and somewhat ruined, but they came out looking brand new — same shape, same stretch, same strong hold. No fraying, no stretching out, no loss of elasticity. That kind of durability says a lot about the quality. Highly recommend if you have thick or heavy hair and want an elastic that actually holds up to daily (and accidental laundry) abuse!

Best hair tie for thick curly hair

These are the first hair tie that have actually held my hair up without coming loose or pulling my hair. They are stretchy and soft. The ones for thick hair are actually thicker too. I will be wearing these from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Goody ComfortFlex Seamless Elastics are a welcome improvement for fine hair. They stretch enough for whether I am styling a full or partial ponytail and usually only need about three loops. Most other ponytail holders require much more loops and end up making my hair look thinner when they have to hold so tight. Ouchless is a correct description in their marketing. As far as no snag, while they don’t get tangled when I remove them, there is still sometimes a few strands of hair pulled. Overall definitely still a better option for fine hair than other elastic ponytail holders.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try the Goody Comfortflex elastics because I have thick long hair, and need hair ties that actually stay in place. I tested how well they stretch and how they hold a ponytail, and I was impressed. They have plenty of stretch, but they bounce back well and don’t feel loose after one use. They held my ponytail securely without pulling or causing discomfort, and they came out of my hair easily without snagging. They are also comfortable to wear on my wrist, which is so nice because most are too tight and leave an indentation. I highly recommend!

My hair is thick and I love putting it in a higher ponytail sometimes, but two twists isn’t enough and the tie just won’t let me do three, so my hair falls. These bands are so stretchy that I can do three twists and it keeps my hair up! They’re also very comfortable and don’t pull my hair out upon removal. I wore this one all day and barely needed to adjust it. Definitely recommend these to anyone with thick hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Goody thick hair elastic since I received it in the mail. A review for a free item to try seemed like a good investment. Anyone who knows me, knows I have THICK curly hair, and lots of it. Normal elastics need to be twisted around my hair 3 times which ends up being too tight, causing a headache. With these elastics made for thick hair, I only need to twist it 2 times and it stays in place - without the headache! The pack is received has 2 of each color, dark brown, brown, tan, and light tan - to match all different hair colors. If you have thick hair, I would suggest looking for these on your next hair product shopping spree.

The only downside is that since my hair is curly, it sometimes gets tangled around the hair tie, and a few strands may break when I remove it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my new go to hair ties! I wasn't sure at first because they are kind of bulky but these are so much better than the skinny ones. These hold my hair with no slipping and when its time to take it out it doesnt pull my hair out with it. They don't shrink all the back to their original size but it hasn't affected how well they work at all.
