Hamilton Beach 6 Slice Sure-Crisp Air Fryer Toaster Oven Stainless Steel

I've made chicken, meatloaf, a whole chicken, roasted vegetables, toast, garlic bread and so much more in it. I absolutely love it. I look forward to making so much more, too. Ive already recommended this air fryer to quite a few people.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the air fryer function that this toaster oven has. It really makes things crispy, and it cuts down on having multiple appliances out. I have had trouble with the baking option though. First, the symbol for reheat looks very similar to the bake mode. I tried to make cornbread, and it didn’t turn out. It was all gooey inside and not edible. I thought it was because I accidentally had it on reheat mode. However I later made brownies and made sure I was on bake mode, and the brownies also did not turn out. Now I am scared to make any other dishes in the toaster oven for fear of ruining them! I also wish the toast mode had more distinct levels on the dial.

I make toast in morning to go with our breakfast, the oven comes with a tray that holds 6 pieces of bread. I used the air fry option to make chicken tenders and French fries, the tenders crisp up nicely and the fries taste like deep fried. Great oven for any small dwelling.

It is light weight which makes it easy to move if needed, pretty compact so it doesn’t take a lot of counter space and can toast 6 slices of toast at once. The only problem I had was getting used to the dials. Takes a bit of work figuring out the dials, but once you figure it out it works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this air fryer toaster oven to help prepare meals quickly and easily for our family. We used to prepare nuggets, tater tots, and fries using a conventional oven, but after using the air fryer we’ve seen a big difference in how crispy and well cooked they’ve come out. It also does great for casseroles, baking potatoes, and when we’ve reheated pizza We’ve even used it to roast a chicken and with a lot less oil the chicken came out crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! There is a learning curve since there is no indicator when the temperature you set is reached to preheat. One thing to remember is to use something to line the cooking trays and that makes cleaning even easier. As far as the looks go, the stainless steel body fits in with our other appliances while not taking up too much counter space, but like all other stainless steel appliances it easily picks up smudges from normal use. (If it was available in a satin finish that would be the best.) When using the convection setting the door does have a tendency to make a vibrating sound while the fan is running and it’s then a matter of opening and closing the door to get it to set just right so the noise stops. The timer, while it goes in 10 minute increments, does not have any notches or indicators for the minutes in between which makes it difficult when something calls for a time between those 10 minute increments. It becomes difficult to get those precise times without having to use a separate timer. The same thing goes for the temperature settings, but that didn’t cause that much of an issue.

This toaster oven is a great size and can accommodate all your cooking needs with a lot less mess. It is great for re-heating, cooking and even baking. I love the easy clean up and the flexibility to use warmer days or when I don't feel like using my oven. Easy instructions to use and even safe to teach your kids. Love the convenience this offers me and my family.

It's very spacious and easy to clean. I made French fries in it and they came out so crispy and delicious, they tasted like they were deep fried. We were really impressed with how fast the air fryer cooks. I can't wait to try chicken wings in it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice basic little countertop toaster oven. It has basic controls of bake, toast, and broil with the additional feature of air frying. The air fry option has become a household favorite for reheating. I was worried because that since it wasn't a very expensive that food wouldn't cook evenly. But I reheated leftovers using the air fryer and it turned out perfect! However, it does seem that the bake setting uses just the upper heating element, which makes it hard to bake some items. Other than that, I think its a nice little oven that fits perfectly on my counter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The reason I only gave this a 3 star was two major reasons for me. You can’t fit a 9x13 pan in this oven, it’s just about an inch too short. Also there is no light to see inside. I’m not crazy about the dials to operate the oven. I’d rather have digital. It does reheat well and I did cook a half of a chicken that turned out delicious. It is like having a little oven, when you don’t want to use a standard size.

My son works nights and his dinner is in the morning and he can cook a pizza quickly. Also many other foods that you can make quickly with this oven. I love the 3 rack positions so foods cook accurately. Little to no oil is needed to cook.

It doesn't come with a lot of bells and whistles, but it is a perfect size for countertops and performs extremely well. The instruction manual is straightforward and easy to follow. I really like that I can toast bread, bagels and english muffins quickly and evenly. This feature allows me to eliminate the need of a regular toaster (one less appliance cluttering my countertop). I enjoy using the bake function for small batches of cookies, baked potatoes and biscuits. The air fryer works amazing well. There is great air circulation and everything cooks evenly without any hot or cold spots. I generally use the air fryer for chicken wings, frozen snacks, such as french fries, tater tots and pizza rolls, but I decided to try air frying breakfast sausage links, and they turned out wonderfully. The links were cooked through perfectly and had just a little bit of crispness on the outside. The broil function is great for cooking fish and thinner cuts of meat. This unit and the accessories are easy to clean with soap and water. Overall, I am pleased with the quality and performance of Hamilton Beach Sure-Crisp Air Fryer Toaster Oven. I definitely recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works well but it takes some getting used to. It has 3 dials one for function (air fry/bake/broil/reheat) each function has a different symbol. Another dial is for the temperature, then another one for the time you want it to cook. The symbols for bake/broil/reheat look alike so thats where i get confused but im trying to get used to it. Theres no preheat option for bake or air fry which depending on what your cooking can get confusing on how much time you need. The time dial is also a bit confusing, theres a picture of toast black & picture of what im guessing is lightly toasted bread & from there its 10/20/30/40 etc so again you under or over cook your food very easily if your not paying attention. This is an ok product but it takes a little while to figure out how to use.

This toaster oven is easy to set up, easy to use, and it works well. To set up this toaster oven, all you have to do is unpack it, wash all of the trays, plug it in, and start the initial test cooking. This initial test cooking gets rid of any smoke or odors. Once this initial cooking is done, it’s ready to be used. I absolutely love that you can air fry, broil, toast, bake, and reheat food. The dials are super easy to use and the printed tray indicators on the glass make it super helpful to remember where to place them for each cooking purpose. This toaster oven air fryer works extremely well! It heats up fast and everything I’ve made in it has been cooked well and delicious! Plus, I really love how nice it looks. All in all, this is a really nice toaster oven air fryer! It’s super easy to set up, it’s easy to use, and it works great! I would absolutely recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the stainless steel in this air fryer. There are three buttons for setting. I tried French fries on air fryer mode and wasn’t a fan of it. But for toasting and warming other food it’s better. I did like that i get one rack and one basket. It was a bit confusing at first the setting but there’s a cheat sheet on the glass door. That was a life saver.

It has many uses and they all work well. I have used it to cook many items and they have all came out great. I have air fryed french fries, chicken thighs, mini pizzas and it comes out perfect like a regular air fryer! I use it every morning to toast my english muffins as well. Very easy to use and it is the perfect size on my counter.

I was skeptical on the air fry, but man that was a 7 minutes! Toast has toasted much quicker, too. We gotta keep an eye on it! Cookies are perfect when baked! But no it was just very well packed, so if you need to ship this to yourself or as a gift, there will be no worry on it arriving perfect. This Air Fryer Toaster Oven does it all! From just baking like a portable oven for your weekend pizza, to using the air fryer to make crispy tator tots, to toasting your breakfast bagels - this is the unit you need! It comes with all the trays needed for each function and even a crumb tray to catch any goodies that may fall through the air fryer basket. This is also a perfect oven for the patio kitchen or for your camper as it is not too big for small counter tops. I cooked a pizza on the provided flat tray, lining it with non-stick foil before spreading out the pizza dough on it. Then added all my toppings. I cooked the pizza on the middle tray slot. This pizza was done in 15 minutes using the oven function with timer. The pizza was fully cooked and had a perfect crisp crust on the bottom that was evenly browned without burning the toppings. I definitely will be cooking many pizzas in the oven. I also love the air fryer option on this oven. What a better way to test than to try to cook tator tots? I used the basket to place my tator tots on with a little room between each tot so the hot air has room to circulate around each. From frozen to ready to eat in 10 minutes without oil! I had perfectly crispy tator tots that were hot in the center! Even fries turn out perfect every time. This little, hardworking oven even broils! Try cooking your fish with the broil option. You'll find it perfectly cooked! One of the best things about the oven, is it is very easy to clean up. Just a lightly soaped cloth to wipe down the inside, followed by a damp cloth and towel to dry, is all it takes to get it ready for your next meal adventure! I highly recommend this hardworking oven for you and your family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super happy with the Sure Crisp air fryer plus toaster oven. This version is a non digital type with turn style knobs which were easy operate. Some of the functions do look the same symbols so read instructions before use. I airfried some egg rolls on the bake option and they came out delicious and crispy. The air fryer is more compact then the previous one we owned. We will be using often.

It has basic controls of bake, toast, and broil with the additional feature of air frying. The air fry option however, does not work well compared to other, stand alone, air fryers I’ve used. It takes twice as long as it should to cook things in the air fryer mode. I attempted to cook frozen breaded fish filets in the air fryer mode – after 2x the amount of cooking time, the middle of some of them were still just warm. I made the air fryer apple pies from the Hamilton Beach website. Again, it took way longer than the recipe instructions said, and while they were cooked, they were not very browned. The only thing that was done successfully in the air fryer mode was roasted asparagus – they took a little longer than expected, but turned out very well. I was also disappointed in the instruction manual – there is no helpful information about recipes, approximate cook times, nothing. I realize you can go to the website and get a bunch of info, but some basic “helpful hints” or something would have been nice in the included instructions.

This toaster oven bakes, broils, toasts and air fries, so a multitude of uses for all kinds of food. I like the included trays and racks and the slide out crumb tray makes for easy cleaning. A nice feature with this oven is the timer function and stay warm option.
