LEGO Editions FIFA World Cup Official Trophy 43020

I found this build challenging, but it looks amazing on display. It is a must for football fans. It catches your eye when you see it. Detail is really good. My family have been asking to borrow it.

Very happy with this project

It is missing small pieces , and the material quality is not good for the price.

My arrival date has been changed 3 times it was supposed to arrive today and still not here.

I have bought this as a birthday gift for my grandson, he has yet to open it, but looking at the box, he will be more than impressed as he is an avid lego and football fan

I bought this Lego for my 14 year old daughter as she has been wanting it for a while. She started to build it in the afternoon and had it completed by bed time. She found the instructions easy to follow and thoroughly enjoyed making it. It now has pride of place in our house as we wait for the world cup to begin

I bought this for myself as someone who loves football and it's history. Having a World Cup trophy was worth the cost, and it's brilliant! Loved building it, clear instructions, and the fact it's the actual size of the trophy itself is so good. To the review saying "it's a shame England 1966 isn't on the engraving base" - England didn't win this trophy, they won the Jules Rimet, this has only been in use since 1974!

Losing count of the times my build has collapsed as I struggle to fit large parts to flimsy foundations. Just finished bag 14. A heavy piece is designed to attach by one edge only at the top of now quite tall structure. If you apply too much pressure bits fly off and you have to work out where they go. Then go backwards.

You build almost the same exact section over and over and over... and i get sometimes that's the way it goes with cool looking Lego sets, but this doesn't even look cool, and not only is it repetitive... it's annoying. You would never know this is a FIFA WC Trophy unless you are a follower of the sport... you probably wouldn't even know it's meant to be a trophy at all.

This Lego product is a must for all Football fans, especially as the World Cup is coming up. My only criticism is the fact that the unique Lego piece of world champions only goes back to 1974! There is plenty of room to add more and it’s a shame it doesn’t go back to 1966 when England won their one and only World Cup. Such a shame not to have that on the piece.

My son was begging for me to get this set and it looks really cool to me as well. He is just finishing up the Lego Soccer Ball set. At age 7 I’ll gladly buy these types of toys for him over other brain rotting things. I was worried about selecting shipping after my pickup order came back within 1 hour from 4 in stock to 0 as these are expensive sets. He is very adamant on saving his boxes and displaying his sets, it’s rewarding as it should be! Today he knew what was in the big Target box on the porch! As you’ve probably already guessed it arrived with one big dent on the top side about 3in long and a few tiny ones in other places. Yes, I’m well aware of shipping practices and things could get damaged in transit. However, Target is not LEGO and did not package it to avoid a major dent in the item. It had one piece of brown paper, that’s it. Which confuses me because they will ship my 11.00 cat food in bubble bags!?!? lol . I don’t know if I will keep or return because they are back ordered on Lego and sold out at the 5 closest store near us. I just wish Target did do a bit more to ensure contents protection. If you are looking for this set I do not recommend shipping method unless you buy directly from LEGO.
