Do not buy. Lost pressure almost immediately and wouldn’t hold pressure no matter how many times it was pumped. Bought 3, tried out 2. Ended up returning all.

Was excited to see that these guns are still being sold, as I had played with the XP35s as a kid in the 90s. I purchased 3 of them, and of the 3, only one would maintain pressure as I pumped them up. The other two just leaked water everywhere and you could hear the valve failing to hold pressure in the tank and would fully release pressure after 3 to 5 seconds (without depressing the trigger). I don't expect much for a $10 squirt gun, and it appears that the build quality of the gun externally is worth it, but the check valve/internal devices on these guns have gotten so poor I cannot recommend that anyone purchases these any more. Really sad state of affairs for a brand that used to bring so much joy....in reality they just disappointed our 2 YO nephew.

Complete junk! Nothing like the orginal of your (90s) childhood. Shoots maybe 5 feet with no force behind it, leaks at the tank and trigger. Worthless junk. Save your money and look elsewhere, this isn't worth it!

Doesn't work
The tube that goes inside the reservoir is tilted upwards so it just sprays air. They needed to put a weight on the tube or make it more solid and molded to point downwards towards the bottom of the reservoir.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall was very disappointed. There is no pressure when the water comes out. The water barrel leaks extremely bad if you fill it up in you kitchen half your water will be gone before you get outside.

Great summer toy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children love playing with water. And they were super excited when they received the water gun. I like that is very compact, but there’s one a little thing that I didn’t like, it gets a little bit hard to put water in the small opening of the tank. Other than that that the sign and the colors are super fun and perfect for summer.

Summer fun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nerf Super Soaker XP45 is an absolute blast! The quality is awesome — sturdy but still super lightweight, so my son can run around with it for hours without getting tired. He had the biggest smile on his face while soaking everything (and everyone!) in sight. I can already tell this is going to be his go-to toy all summer long — backyard battles, pool parties, you name it! Highly recommend for endless summer fun.
