Prequel Barrier Therapy Rich Skin Protectant Cream - 10 fl oz

For three decades I've bounced between different products and always was pretty happy with my "will never be without" daily face cream. I have normal to dry skin, so when RICH barrier therapy came out I bounced on it and will never look back. Truly is what I have been looking for. I love how creamy, moisturizing and soothing this cream is. Day or night, my skin is moisturized and happy.

I love this moisturizer. My hands get very dry after washing, and I find some lotions still drying. This one is truly doing its job, doesn’t feel sticky or too heavy, and absorbs quickly. I also use it after the pool.

My adult son uses this to keep dry skin at bay on his arms and legs. He gets eczema on his elbows and this seems to help him. Great value and skin barrier protection.

I was looking for a new moisturizer for my dry (with eczema), dehydrated, sensitive, and acne-prone skin, as the one I'm using is more than I care to spend on a moisturizer. After falling in love with other Prequel products, I thought I'd give this one a go. The eczema-riddled skin on my body adores it. It's moisturizing and rich without being greasy. It doesn't burn when applied over broken skin caused by the eczema. Regrettably, the sensitive skin of my face was less enthused with the product. My redness increased, and I broke out with acne. After a couple weeks of trialing the product on my face, I switched back to the moisturizer I had been using before. The acne retreated as did the redness. So, I'll continue to use it on my body, but alas, it was a no-go for my face. I would love to see Prequel come out with a dedicated facial moisturizer for the super dry, dehydrated people out there, because at lease for me, the AM/PM wasn't quite rich enough.

I love all of the Prequel products and don't want to be critical , but the Rich version, in my opinion, isn't anymore protective or moisturizing as the Barrier Cream that I love and use everyday. It is still a lovely product.

Wanted to love this cream but it really didn't feel all that moisturizing for my dry skin. The texture is richer than the original barrier therapy cream but I don't think it's more moisturizing by any means. Not impressed overall.

This is a great moisturizer for sensitive, dry or irritated skin. I like to use it overnight when my skin feels dry, specially in the winter. Is not greasy and can be used every day under Sun screen.

I really like the regular barrier therapy (and most other prequel products!), but like another reviewer my bottle had what felt like tiny shards of plastic in the lotion. Prequel refunded my purchase quickly.

This is amazing, stayed soft and hydrated for days!

Not hydrating. For this be “rich” I found it to be quite drying. Not at all what I was expecting. The packaging is also not my favorite

J'ai commencé un traitement à l'Adapalène qui a énormément asséché et sensibilisé ma peau. Cette crème m'a sauvée (combinée avec la Reactive Skin Solutions Cream) ! Je l'utilise en sandwich (avant et après l'Adapalène) tous les soirs et je la mets tous les matins avant mon SPF. Au bout de deux semaines, je n'ai plus aucune rougeur, ma peau ne tiraille plus du tout et elle est parfaitement nourrie. Bien qu'elle soit très riche, cette crème est très agréable à l'utilisation et ne donne pas la sensation d'une couche épaisse de gras une fois posée (contrairement à beaucoup d'autres crèmes réparatrices que j'ai testées dans le cadre de mon eczéma). Je peux l'utiliser sans problème en masque de nuit sans que cela ne soit inconfortable ou ne génère des boutons. Je vais continuer à la racheter sans hésitation

So rich and creamy. Easily soaks in to the skin. Lasts a long time.

Just started using this. I don't use it daily but the times I have used it- it's thick. No sticky. No fragrance. I am having my family member who has eczema also use it. My sister likes it for her dry hands. It's large tube so great value

Try his has saved my dry skin. My face is so dry in winter months and nothing was helping, until Barrier Therapy Rich. My face feels so soft and comfortable. Let be it!!

I thought I would use this on my feet, I have diabetes and neuropathy and the tips of my toes get real dry and it makes my feet hurt really bad. Been using this morning and night and the dryness, itching and burning has mild down a whole lot. Getting ready to order my 2nd tube, don’t want to be without it. Thank you so much for such a real product.
