10 week reusable yellow jacket
I bought two refillable‘s last year and again this year and they’re not catching Yellowjackets but the bag one is catching yellowjacket so I know I have a lot of yellow jackets. Why is it not working?hung both traps the same day. Hung in active areas

Horrible
I live in California and have been buying the wasp trap for years and they have worked great. I’ve purchased the wasp trap twice this year and they are not working at all. What’s the deal have they changed something because I haven’t gotten one wasp. Never buying again. So disappointed.

Our Reusable Yellowjacket Trap only works to target yellowjackets and does not work on hornets. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to us at rescuepestcontrol.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

Yellow Jacket
The Yellow Jacket love to hover over the grass near the fruit trees. With the reuseable trap, we capture many Yellow Jacket each year. The trap refill say’s good for 2 weeks and in my region they work for 4-6 weeks. I wish there was a video or direction on the website for all the supplies that come in the refill kit. Also a picture of the 18 insects and label of the insects so I can identify what we are catching. I believe I am catching Yellow Jackets and not honey bees.

Did not work.
I bought this trap from Home Depot. I did everything that the directions suggested. I put it in different locations. I used the cotton swab an "bait". Then I used a cartridge bait. Nothing worked. Not one yellow jacket over 7 days. This was a complete waste of money.

Hi Jimbob, thank you for your feedback. You may be trying to catch wasps. Wasps can appear identical to yellowjackets, but only yellowjackets will go into our yellowjacket traps. This post is helpful to determine if you have wasps in your yard instead of yellowjackets - https://www.rescue.com/latest-buzz/helpful-hints/is-that-a-wasp-or-a-yellowjacket/ Thanks again, and feel free to email us with questions at info@rescue.com.

Really works
Here on our lake in West Michigan we had an infestation of yellow jackets this summer. When two children at our 4th of July party were stung I had enough. I bought this rescue trap at home Depot and it has eliminated the problem. In seven weeks has killed about 1000 yellow jackets. The original bait did not last long but the ten week replacement is on week five and going strong. Thanks!

Getting revenge for being stung!
I got stung recently so I bought the reusable trap and a bag trap. The reusable one has been much better than the bag. I hope the one who stung me is dead!

Weak yellow jacket attractant
I bought this yellow jacket attractant a week ago and went to use it and it had almost no smell at all. No bees were attracted. Went to Home Depot got another brand and it was very strong , got many bees. Not happy.

Zippo caught or lured
Hung this trap out and nothing. Evidently the bait which I put on the cottonball has no allure. Perfectly useless!

I got stung. I took it personally. This helped!
I was mowing my yard and went by a hidden yellow jacket nest. BAM! Before I knew they got me twice. I got stung again by the time I located the nest. Then I bought spray and had to wait until dusk to stalk these yellow devils then took aim to cover the nest. While this helped, what was most effective was the Rescue Yellow jacket trap. I hung it up and it did all the hard work. I had a trap full of wasps, yellow jackets, and large hornets. It was easy to do and I didn't have to wait until midnight to eliminate the pests. They did the work for me thanks to Rescue. Not to sound too dramatic, but I felt like Michael at the end of the Godfather part one but eliminating a different kind of pest.

Have been able to enjoy our deck more!
These traps have helped us to control our yellowjacket problem we have. We usually have them swarming our patio door and making nest in every corner, under deck and even in our deck furniture. This has helped with the number of them we have seen.

Pretty nifty!
I love that this has no chemicals or poison, is reusable and doesn't LOOK like it's a bug trap. I haven't had success with this yet, but it's only been a week or so, and we don't have too many yellowjackets in our yard. Will definitely update if/when I get to do a yellojacket body count, which I'm really looking forward to for some weird reason! I will add that the attractant smell is really hard to wash off, so please learn from my mistake, and try not to let it get on your hands! I received this product at no cost for my honest and unbiased review.

Good trap
I like that this trap is reusable, which makes it sustainable (although it's gross to empty out the trap when it's full of dead yellowjackets). I've had the trap hanging for a few days, and it's early in the season but I've caught one so far. I appreciate that this trap is safe around pets and kids since it doesn't use poison.

I started using this a couple weeks ago and have been able to catch so many yellow jackets! My kids are so happy to have a backyard to play in with fewer yellow jackets!
