It measures progessively motile sperm, a key factor in fertility, and delivers results in about 1 hour with a simple, easy-to-follow process (total time from getting sample to interpreting result). The kit includes all necessary components, and the instructions are provided in both English and Spanish, clearly written and easy to follow. The reported accuracy (around 95-96% compared to lab testing - as stated by the manufacturer) is reassuring. I also searched that the technology is developed by the Danish company MotilityCount ApS - a well-known brand. However, this is only a screening tool and cannot replace a full semen analysis. The color-based results my be somewhat subjective depending on lighting, and it does not assess factors like sperm morphology or volume. Overall, it is a practical and user-friendly first step, but medical follow-up is recommended if there are concerns

My husband has gone to the clinic for testing which obviously is much more thorough but this was pretty cool to be able to check at home. I think at the end of the day, the detail of the reports you receive from a clinic is so much more thorough, that this test is definitely is not a replacement for that. It could be a good start though for someone who is barely starting out on their journey of fertility. It does take a bit of time because you have to wait 30 minutes before you add the sample to the test, and then another 30 minutes once you do add the sample. It was a little hard to confirm the color at first, but I was able to get the results. I would be curious to do another lab test to see how accurate this is.

For something you can test at the comfort of your home, it was worth the wait. The process was straightforward, packaging was simple and everything looked clean. This only comes with one test, so you have to be careful not to mess it up. You also cannot retake the test right away, there are some restrictions listed in the instruction booklet. There is a lot to read, but most of it is question/faqs. The actual steps were only a few pages. Results are easy to understand, I would recommend this for the sole purpose of checking at home. But personally, I would still go to a clinic to get this tested as a second opinion.
