Charles Boyer stars as a philanderer who's accused of killing his wife in A Womans Vengeance, a gripping drama co-starring Ann Blyth and Jessica Tandy. When his invalid wife Emily (Rachel Kimpson) dies of a heart attack, it frees Henry Maurer (Boyer) to marry his young mistress Doris (Blyth). Confiding her suspicions that Henry murdered her patient, Emilys nurse (Mildred Natick) is encouraged by a neighbor (Tandy) to tell the police. Suddenly Henry finds himself wrongly convicted and awaiting his fate while the family doctor (Sir Cedric Hardwicke) races against time to find the real killer and save his life.
