Q: I recieved the umbrella base and it says it has to be used with a table. It does not say that anywhere on the listing. Will this not work without a table?

Measurements are off!!!!!

Specifications and qa state that this accepts a pole 48mm which is 1.89". Bought this, lugged it home and fund that the insode diameter is only 1.75". Ridiculous!

Elevated Looking Base

This is a very sturdy base. Since it weighs around 40 pounds, my umbrella does not tip over. The marble looking base elevates it from other bases. I was lucky to purchase this on sale.

Sturdy and modern!

Really sturdy and nice looking. The last page of the instruction booklet states okay for umbrellas 9’ and less, bigger umbrellas should use the stand in conjunction with a table. Up close the granite is fake looking, but I really like it overall

Sturdy and Nice looking!

I was a little upset when I read on the box that it was for use with a table. I decided to still give it a go on a slightly windy day and it held up wonderfully!! I'm glad too cause it looks so pretty compared to other stands. I always make sure to put my umbrella away on days that are super windy, but that's just me taking precaution.

Sturdy and reliable umbrella base!

I purchased two of these to use as standalone bases for my umbrellas, and they’ve held up impressively well. Even in windy weather, they’ve stayed put with no issues—so I’m not sure why another reviewer said you need a table. Mine have been perfectly stable on their own. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the “stone” does chip a bit, and it’s not real stone, which was a slight disappointment. But overall, the bases are very heavy, sturdy, and do exactly what I need them to do. Still a great buy if you want something solid and dependable.

Not for use without table???

Nowhere on the listing online does it say it needs to be used with a table, but the box says it cannot be used without a table. Very disappointed I ordered two of these and now have to return these heavy items.
