  • A: no, it does not require water. the technology in the fan sucks in hot air and makes it cold air. adding water and ice makes it colder and adds the misting function. but works perfectly fine without the water and/or ice! ^_^

    Don't purchase.

    It feels like a regular fan even when filled up with water, ice, and an ice pack. Less than an hr it’s making noise like it’s going to get stuck during rotation.I have to sit directly next to it to feel cool. my rooms tiny and still stuffy

    It works exactly as advertised

    It's as described it really does blow cool air. It's not an AC for those mistaking and whom cannot read for the life of them. You add water and you add ice, ice cools off the water. Don't use room temp water, buy a secondary ice pack. Interchange them every 5+ hours. If it's hotter changing them more often may be necessary.

    Overpriced fan not cooling really

    It sucks. Not really that much better than your regular fan, also gets really humid in the room with the mist on. Temperature didn’t drop at all in the room. Maybe if you sit right in front of it with the ice pack inserted you’ll feel some relief. Overpriced and not worth it. Will be returning.
