the old formula worked so good i would use it everyday. This new one is AWFUL so awful definitely not the same please go back to the old one im begging.

Like many others, I thought the different look was just a packaging update. The new formula is nothing like my favourite primer used to be. It's thinner and feels oily on my skin, makes my face shiny halfway through the day and my makeup looks like it is melting - literally sliding off my face. Gutted because I loved the old formula so much!

I have just run out of the primer. After reading all the negative reviews, I will not buy anymore. I love the original one. Like everyone is saying "Why would you change a perfect product".

This 'improved' product in the different packaging is not the same as the original that I have been using for years as a loyal customer. This is awful stuff & doesn't give the same flawless finish. I contacted Benefit & they said they changed ingredients due to environmental reasons?! It should be listed as a different product as it is deceiving by the fact it's the same name but a different product. No idea what I'm going to use now but it won't be this.

I've spent a small fortune on pore minimizers. This by far is the best and really works. I wear alone. Love, love, love 💘

"The POREfessional you know & love—new look!" How is this not false advertizing? I wouldn't have gaslit myself for months into thinking I was just having a bad skin phase and it couldn't be a problem with the "same" primer I'd been using for years if the display in the store hadn't been so insistent that the only thing that had changed about this was the packaging art. How can you claim it's the same primer I knew if it's been reformulated and it has a different (and noticeably worse) effect? Not sure I'll repurchase even if you do change the formula back. There's gotta be another primer out there that will work similarly and won't try to trick their consumers.

I recently ran out of the old formula of Pore Professional and used the new product today. It is awful. Does not make your skin as smooth as the old formula and as soon as I put powder on it clumped all over my face. I will be returning it.

I have used the original POREfessional primer for years. Loved it! Best primer by far in my opinion. This reformulation is awful by comparison. I assumed it was simply new artwork on the packaging rather than a different formulation and made the mistake of buying my usual large size! It pills, it's thick and difficult to spread. Just so disappointing. Why did you change an excellent product??

Why would any company change a formula for a product that literally everyone that used it, loved?? Whoever yall hired for this decision should be fired. The new stuff sucks. Go back to the old formula. Broadcast it please, as I subscribe. I'm running low, so don't take too long to Thanks

This is not the first product that Benefit has changed from something wonderful to something that is worse than not using it at all. It is a different product completely and not the same - it's greasy and makes my face break out. I have about 15 new pimples a day after using the new product. I was done with it after 5 days. It's in the trash!

I loved the old formula, it went on smoothly. This new formula clumps off. It's no good.

This new formula is terrible. I went through 3 pages of recent reviews and it's all loyal customers who are highly disappointed in the new formula because it's absolute trash. DO NOT BUY

I've used this product for many many years. It was the best at masking pores and my foundation went on smoothly. Really did just airbrush my skin perfectly and could go without foundation even. Now it's loose, greasy, gloopy and not fit for purpose. My foundation won't apply well anymore. It just slides off 🙁. I bought the full size version from another retailer and thought I'd been scammed! I complained to them but they wouldn't uphold it as "no one else had an issue". I bought another, half size one, from Boots as I knew it would be the genuine article had I been scammed and am gutted to find it's exactly the same 🙁. No idea what to use next. All other products didn't come anywhere close but now ….?! What a waste of my money. Gutted. Wish I'd looked at the reviews before parting with more money. No idea if they will revert to the formula from before but won't be parting with any more money to try again. So disappointed. This was a 5* product before.

What in the world?! You kept the same price, but changed what WAS a great product to a completely ineffective, watered down, greasy terrible product! It doesn't even do what it says it will do anymore. This USED TO be the best pore & line filler/smoother there was on the market. I'm so tired of companies not only increasing prices & changing things to make more money, but giving us worse and worse products simultaneously. It's like Benefit watered down the old formula with oils and silicone or something. The entire reason it used to work brilliantly is because of the texture. I'm returning this immediately & will never purchase again unless I find out you went back to the old formula.

I wore this just about everyday for years. When the new packaging came out the the formula changed and now it sucks. So oily and doesn't actually fill in the pores anymore. I don't know why they changed an already good product. So disappointing.

I was a long time lover of The Benefit Porefessional Primer and re-bought many times. I recently bought this product again and notice the formula and texture has changed. I do prefer the old formula and texture on my skin for makeup. Would love if you kept this product but also bring back the older Benefit Porefessional Primer with the older formula and texture on the e-commerce platforms such as Benefit, ASOS, Lookfantastic and Cult Beuty x

I am very disappointed as the product has changed and now I am going to need to find a new brand. 15 years being happy for now it to be a waste of money.

I have been using this for years and I went to the store and saw that it was in a different packaging didn't think anything of it until I tried it, it's horrible now so greasy and makes my makeup look horrible now won't be buying again unfortunately

The original product, before the new packaging and obviously new formula change was brilliant.. It was my beauty must have and I recommend this to everyone. Now it is greasy and doesn't really blur the pores which was the whole point of this product!! When I went In to the store to ask, they said the product had not changed but when I showed the difference between my old tube and new they had to admit it was different. Why Benefit decided to change the formula I I feel is crazy . They had an awesome product used by so many because it was fabulous and did what it was meant to do Shame that I now have to find another brand.
