Not impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cetaphil Gentle Exfoliating SA Cleanser was a huge disappointment. I found that it didn’t lather well in my hands or on my face. It didn’t leave my skin feeling clean like most facial cleansers do.

Great for Oily Skin!

I have tried a few facial cleansers but this one seems to be the best! I usually have oily skin and after using it my skin has cleared up! It’s gentle on my skin and doesn’t make it too dry! It has a neutral scent and pairs nicely with my moisturizer!

Works and stretches far

Me and my husband both use this product and have found that our skin is notably cleaner. This is especially impressive because we have different skin types and it seems to work for us both – he has more oily skin. I have more dry skin. I also like that a little bit goes along way that makes it much more economical to use when money is tight.

I would recommend product. It cleans your skin without an oily residue however, I don’t see how it exfoliates. My skin feels clean, but not exfoliated does not feel softer and smoother

Dont recommend this product

I bought this product about 2 months ago first uses worked okay but it never told me to use a moisturiser afterwards and it burnt the top of my skin and caused me to get pie then I realised I needed a moisturiser afterwards which they should right on the product that they need a moisturiser. So I started using the moisturiser and it still didnt help my skin and it got so bad that now I have PIE and more ance from this product which I was just trying to remove minor close comedones that were only little but tripled in size and now my face is covered in ance just from using the product when I had close comedones but now its worsened

Not a great start

I purchased the cleanser and lotion after watching video reviews and doing follow-up reading. I was looking to correct hyperpigmentation and have t-zone sensitive skin. Both products smell like chemicals and the lotion leaves a sticky residue. After two weeks I got my first pimple in years. May be the random sunflower oil??? It also leaves a burning sensation on my skin. I wanted this to work but you should not feel dirty and poisoned after washing and moisturizing your face. 😭

highly effective. as a former esthetician I always pass this along when using these types of cleansers. Always let the cleanser sit on your skin for about five minutes before rinsing it off. penetrates in the skin and noticably brighter where the results I noticed the most! however their Vitamin C serum needs help.

It's a great facial cleanser. It leaves my face feeling clean and soft. But if your face is already dry I wouldn't recommend this one because it's a drying cleanser. But if you pair it with a good moisturizer u should be good!

I can’t say that this product doesn’t work. It does… it cleared up my skin well and I loved the results… except it’s made me very itchy. This product could be great for some people, but for those with sensitive skin, this may cause a reaction. I don’t have sensitive skin, however, and still might have had an allergic reaction.

Great for smoothing skin on your body

This product is great and I use it weekly on my body. My skin feels extremely smooth after using this product just one time and it goes on easily and does not leave a residue. Definitely not cost-effective if utilizing across your entire body, but weekly is an option. I tried utilizing this product on my face and noticed that my skin was extremely oily after use - I've stayed away from utilizing this on my face.
