Q: Do these shoes tie?

  • A: No. Laces are way too short. Just bought for my 5 year old. She can’t run or jump in them because they don’t stay on. They only lace to top of her foot and not even close to around the ankle for high tops.

  • A: I've been wearing Converse Shoreline (slip ons) for years, and yes, I have machine washed my canvas (not suede, leather or wool) upper shoes like these: optic white, fuchsia pink, grey, red, black etc...BUT I havent washed the ones with patterns or embroidery. Cold water (with ALL Free & Clear) on a quick wash (I don't let my shoes get dirty as a child might). Then air dry (not dryer). I use the Mr. Clean eraser sponge for the rubber top. I haven't had any issues afterwards. Do not bleach!

    Cute back to school shoe

    This is a great Converse shoe! I did not notice though these are designed to be worn open (without tieing) maybe? The laces come with knots in them and the tongue of the shoe has elastic. The shoe did not fit my normal sized child right wearing it open so we took the knots out and where able to tie the shoe as normal, although the lace is short. There is no way you can reach the top holes with the laces provided. I do like how they are not as high as a regular Converse high top, I think that will be good for school and playground visits! Very cute and happy kid!
