In the first few weeks of use, as your skin adjusts to the retinoid, you may experience dryness, redness or peeling. Great first impression, but the smell is STRONG

This is only my first night using it, so this is more of a first impression than a full review. I really like the packaging, and the gel feels very lightweight on my skin. My only complaint so far is the smell. It has a pretty strong chemical smell that lingers, although I am very sensitive to smells, so other people may not notice it as much. It is way too early to tell whether it is helping my acne, but I have used regular Differin adapalene before. I do think this is worth the price, and it is really nice to finally see an adapalene and benzoyl peroxide combination available over the counter.

The Best of Both Worlds

I was already using adapalene gel, so adding this was no problem for my skin because it is used to it. Since it adds Benzoyl Peroxide, it makes it even more effective and my acne has definitely gotten better from using this for only the past few days. I definitely recommend this product, but if you have sensitive skin, make sure you go easy, slow, and moisturize! It may take awhile to see results, but it happens and is really great.
