Q: My washer does not have an area for fabric softener, only bleach. Do I put it in that?

  • A: Hi Megan! Thank you for your question! We understand that using Downy Rinse Out Odor can be a bit confusing without a fabric softener dispenser in your washer. Please note that Downy Fabric Rinse is not meant to be placed in the bleach dispenser. For most machines, it should be added to the fabric softener dispenser. If your washer doesn’t have one, you can add it in the center post agitator for traditional top-loading machines, or you can pour it directly into the drum during the rinse cycle. This is good !!!

Perfect if you like your clothes to smell nice and clean

My clothes came out smelling so nice and fresh. I wish the packaging would have a cap or something for me to measure how much to put it but other than that I was very pleased with this product. Its consistency is liquidy not very thick, and it dissolves quickly in water. I’d definitely recommend.

Downy rinse
