Do the extra prep
Be sure to thoroughly prep your nails - smooth, file, etc and use a ridge filling base coat. If you use a beige/ white color first, you’ll have not need 1-2 coats. If you just apply on your clearcoat, probably need at least 3 coats for decent coverage. Gives a super glossy, almost burred effect that looks modern and high end. Takes extra effort to get a good look but it is worth it.

This stuff would not dry. I don’t know why they can’t make all of their polishes quick dry, but this one is particularly bad. Unfortunately, I will be returning this even though I really loved the concept and it was a beautiful color.. I just can’t wait 25 minutes to see if nail polish is gonna dry only to find out that it doesn’t and I had to take it off.

In the bottle, the Full Blown color looks like a red but comes out more as a hot pink, even with 5-6 coats. I do wish this line came with a red color. Otherwise, dries quickly, the glossy finish makes it look professional, and the buildable layers allow for easy maintenance.

The color is pretty but it’s way too transparent. I did 3 coats and it’s still not opaque enough. With 3 or more coats it because too thick and gets a glue like texture that messes up easily. The jelly gloss is way better!

This polish is a lot of fun. Looks more purple than blue on the nails. Goes on evenly, not streaky as I was expecting (and which happens with a lot of sheer polish). I’m wearing two coats and a shiny top coat and quite pleased with the result.

Barely any color. I normally love Essie colors, this one was a total miss. It's like a topcoat that someone let a blue Bic pen soak in. It looks like a mistake.

I had high hopes, but this is definitely not polish for me. I tried Crystal Ball, because I love a soft neutral and the glazed look. It does have a pretty shine, but there’s literally no pigment, it’s just shine, even after three layers.

Not as advertised
I was so excited to try out this nail polish. It reminded me of blue 90s inflatable furniture. It doesn’t look like the picture at all. Extremely disappointed in this product. I didn’t get a receipt bc I’m rarely dissatisfied with the product itself. Did I get a bad batch? This looks absolutely nothing like what was advertised.
