    Extra hot summer!

    Works very well cooling the hot side of the house. Very easy to install, it took 20 minutes from box to window. Pretty quiet for a window unit. 200 sqft of kitchen and dining area and even on the 100° days it stayed cool.

    GE-(6,000btu) AC

    The GE (6,000btu) AC has been installed n has been a life saver as the weather in MA has been in the 95-102degrees climate n humidity 75-100% 4 the last (4) days. It has been great ok.

    Can ask no more for the cost

    Cools excellently. Only dislike is when it reaches set temp and turns off (in eco mode) as designed if you want to lower set temp a degree or two you have to move desired temp down at least 3 degrees. Ex......set at 70 and is off, lower to 69, 68, 67 etc before she fires up. Then you can move it up to 69 and she will achieve that.

    Air conditioner

    Does not cool as much as I thought it would. They window guard on one side broke before installing the air conditioner.

    Somewhat dissatisfied

    Install was a bit difficult. Venetian extensions were not long enough for the window width. Cools ok for bedroom space it's in. Some vibration & too noisy to run while attempting to sleep

    GE just isn't a quality brand anymore

    Get literally any other brand. Unless you like very heavy, very expensive broken burdens. This piece of junk stopped working after just 18 days! Not only that, but the day before a massive heat wave. GE won't do anything to help me (even though I signed up for the warranty when I got it...). So I paid hundreds of dollars for super expensive garbage. Avoid at all costs.

    Works as advertised

    It cools our 2nd floor bedroom, but the auto feature seems to stop working if the unit is left on for several hours. I usually have to turn it off then on again in the morning.

    Great unit

    I think it's great so far. Installation was a snap. Cools my 16 x 12 shed just fine. I run it on eco mode and it handles the Texas heat to date. No vibration. It's a little noisy, but that's to be expected with the fan blowing. The only thing I don't care for is that you can't direct the air up or down only side to side, other than that it's a great unit.

    OK, but mounting hardware was stripped.

    A/C unit works well, but one of the brackets for mounting the unit had a stripped hole. Now I have to figure out a way to secure that side.

    Nice

    Pretty nice little a/c. I put it in my motorcycle barn so when I work on my bikes in NC 100 degree whether it’s comfortable. It might be a little loud in a window. But I cut a hole in the wall for it so it’s quiet . But it seems a little loud outside.
