Ghost Controls Wireless Vehicle Sensor - AXWV

Put in a couple batteries put it beside the road. So far so good

Used to have a wired sensor, purchased a new wireless one by mistake. Same price, but not quite as sensitive. Not looking forward to battery declination and even less sensitivity.

This operation is spotty, it has to be very close to the gate and only works about half the time. I am afraid to bury it because even setting next to the road it is not great.

I have done everything per instructions and can not get this to works

Only wish was that it had a greater distance..they do have one, but you have to bury the line that far and it's too much work for us!

Easy installation with good instructions to anyone with moderate handyman skills

Works as expected. Easy install, great addition to an awesome gate control. We love our ghost control gate opener.

Ghost Controls is Amazing , I have 4 gates on my property and if there is ever an issue they solve it and warrant their product 100%. I will be adding more gates to my other properties this year and it will be with them .

When the ground is wet it will not work. The component above ground takes a beating from lawnmowers and animals.

Easy to set up works great never had any problems with ghost products

It's a lot easier to install this wireless sensor than the wired sensor. I tried raising the sensor to ten inches deep but it seems as if driving too close to the sensor causes it not to work

This product works as expected. A vehicle sensor on the exit side of the gate is absolutely necessary. My sensor is buried about 70 ft from the Ghost controller and gate. The sensor is buried about 15 inches, and is positioned parallel to my driveway about 18 inches to the side. It communicates flawlessly with the controller. The only issue is that the cable connecting the sensor to the transmitter is short (for my purpose). I did not want to trench and bury a cable for 70 ft, so this was the solution, and I am happy with the result

The sensor works as described by Ghost Controls. Easy to install.
