    awesome robust flavorful

    I love this coffee. I buy the beans, use a hand grinder and the use the coffee in a stovetop espresso pot, or an electric drip or an aero press when I travel. It’s gotten more costly of late, which is not under your control, and I appreciate the specials that come around.

    My favorite coffee!

    Kicking Horse 454 is something I look forward to each morning. I can't remember who introduced me to it. But I like very hot, flavorful coffee, not bitter, not too strong. This is it. Makes store bought brands taste like diluted sludge. Coffee is not cheap these days. I make sure that I wake up with something that makes my day worth it.

    What made me try it?

    Driving in British Columbia one year to a destination my wife and I would be staying at for a week; my thought was on coffee. We stopped at a grocery store, and I went to the coffee section. I saw the Kicking Horse collection and my eyes went to the “454”! My Suburban had a 454 cubic-inch engine…. So... I bought it; loved it; and been drinking it for two decades. It still starts my day off like the first time I tried it.

    I found Horse Power at Natural Grocer, and I am really glad I did! This has the robust depth I look for, The acid component is softer than I have found in so many other coffees. This is fabulous!

    My all time favorite by Kicking Horse

    I'm a hand-grind, coffee press person and have tried several coffee brands. Some fairly expensive and very disappointing. Kicking Horse coffee has been my favorite since day one. Perfectly roasted, rich, and bold flavor, and, all blends I have tried pass my test after it cools off a bit in my coffee press, the flavor holds up and does not become bitter or sour. I hate when coffee's do that but Kicking Horse holds up great. You have a life-long customer and I appreciate your amazing coffee. Thank you, Sean

    Love this coffee. I can’t say what distinguishes it from the other ones I’ve tried because they are all good. They all have a kick to them. I have been searching for a brand I could stick to and finally found it. Sipping on it right now.
