This body cream is formulated with a high concentration of La Roche-Posay Prebiotic Thermal Water, lipid-replenishing Shea Butter and moisturizing Glycerin and Niacinamide. Dermatologist-tested, this body cream is safe for the whole family’s sensitive skin including adults, children, and babies as young as two weeks. Key Ingredients:
• La Roche-Posay Prebiotic Thermal Water: A soothing water sourced in the town of La Roche-Posay in France and a core ingredient in most of our products. It contains a unique combination of minerals, trace elements, and a high concentration of selenium, a natural antioxidant.
• Ceramide-3: Ceramides are lipids naturally found in skin. They play an essential role to help retain moisture and maintain a healthy skin barrier. Ceramide 3, also known as Ceramide NP, is a skin-identical lipid used in our formulas to help support the skin moisture barrier.
• Shea Butter: Sustainably sourced in Burkina Faso. Formulas with shea butter help restore the skin's hydrolipidic film and help skin feel soothed.
• Niacinamide: A form of vitamin B3, niacinamide is a water soluble vitamin. It is widely used in dermatology for its soothing properties, helping restore skin's moisture barrier, and visibly fading skin discolorations.

    What no one tells you about menopause.

    Itching, bone-deep itching. My jaw, down my neck into my cleavage, itching! Then the palms of my hands between my fingers, itching. Never-ending, itching. I have since learned that, even though I went through menopause like 10 years ago, my skin is just catching up. Anyway, this product helped more than anything else. It didn't fix the hormonal imbalance, but it eased it a little. When nothing else would touch the itching, this helped. So, first go to your doctor and go on the HRT patch, second get this lotion.

    Inflamed burning feeling on my face

    Actually works

    The label says better quality of life and is not wrong. I have had peeling hands and feet since September (about 10 months now) and the dermatologist has no idea why. I have tried every lotion possible and have been using Eucerin advanced repair for the past few months begrudgingly since I haven’t found anything better. I randomly decided to try this one when my last Eucerin bottle ran out and I am trilled with it. My fingertips peel constantly which leaves me with a sandpaper texture on my fingertips. Every other lotion would resolve this until the lotion was completely absorbed and then back to sandpaper. La roche posay actually does exfoliate so I have to apply this lotion FAR less frequently (like 5 or 6 times a day compared to probably 30+). I already use all their skincare so this was a logical choice for me and I’m so glad I made it.

    Great product, HORRIBLE smell (burnt playdough?)

    This product feels REALLY nice, and I wish I could wear it, but the smell is horrific. I thought maybe I had received an old batch or it had been damaged in some way. After reading some more reviews, it seems this is just how it smells. It smells like burnt playdough to me. I could not handle it. Thank goodness I didn't put it on my face! This product would be perfect if the smell wasn't so awful. Hopefully the formula will be updated!

What you are noticing is simply the raw, natural scent of our high-performance dermatological ingredients, including a rich 20% concentration of nourishing shea butter, thermal water, and niacinamide. A helpful tip to make the application more comfortable is to let the cream warm up between your palms for a few seconds before smoothing it on, as this helps it absorb much more rapidly, allowing that natural, unmasked scent to completely dissipate into the air within just a few moments of application.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was afraid to try this because of the reviews. Literally my new HG for my skincare, my skin is dry and then becomes more dry with tret .. this sandwich combo is actually the best !!! I had to buy a small one for my work bag and my husband !!!! It is a bit heavy but also use at nighttime as well.

    Tube packaging better

    The product is perfect but I won't be buying anymore since packaging is such a pain. I would much prefer the the 400 ml pump to be turned into tube packaging similar to the smaller 200ml version.

    ARM ECZEMA FOR YEARS GONE IN A DAY!!

    Woah! I want anyone who has eczema to read this!! I get bad patches of eczema on the inner pit of my elbow that just won't go away! I'll put on thick moisturizers that seem to moisturize temporarily, but when I wear heavy creams that don't dry down quickly, the moisture and the movement of my arm causes itchiness! And when i scratch, it's back to square one! My arms would be cracked and bleeding... always calming down and then flaring up again. I would try my best to keep it at bay, but always ended up needing to put steroid on the patches. That is, until this lotion! I was very hesitant to get it because my face reacts to niacinimide and i had previously used their eczema soothing cream, ciciplast lip balm, and toleraine double repair face moisturizer and none of them helped my eczema! But wow! after the first use, the redness on my arms had calmed down. There was no itch or burn or anything! I've been using it for about a week - just a dime sized amount after the shower and no flare ups! my arms just look like normal skin!! It's been years since i could do that without steroid!! I think it's great because it's rich, but doesn't linger on the skin, causing no stickiness and itchiness. 100/10! Actually life changing!! I have no before pictures, but here are some after a week!

    Max Hydration

    When I discovered this cream it came upon me unexpectedly and I’m so happy I was able to use this and BOYYY do I! I use this for my skin routine both day and night, but I also used this as a base for my makeup and it’s been such a lifesaver and makes my makeup last even longer than it does.

    Cream +++ dispenser -----

    I like the cream, but I am not buying anymore until you redesign the dispenser to work. It is difficult to pump the cream into your hand and the pump stops delivering the cream, when there is still plenty of cream in the dispenser

    I found this to be VERY greasy and heavy. It didn’t absorb even after several minutes. I had to wipe it off so it wouldn’t stain my clothes.

    The Best Moisturizer for Extremely Dry Skin

    Here's a polished version of your review: I absolutely love this product! The cream has a rich, luxurious texture that isn't thin or watery like many other moisturizers. I struggle with extremely dry skin, and this is the only product I've found that keeps my skin moisturized and comfortable all day long—not just for a short time after application.     Bad pump

    The dispenser is a problem. Halfway through the bottle, the pump doesn't bring up the lotion. Everyone I know who uses LaRache says the same thing. Come on --- design a dispensing pump that works to the very bottom.
