The Rocky 9" BearClaw boots are great for hunting, but you may want to work in them, too. Regardless of where you wear them, the #FQ0009237 boots are durable, rugged and comfortable. These Rocky boots are made with full-grain leather and tough nylon. They have genuine Goodyear® welt construction and a storm welt for durability, shape-retention and a solid platform for hours of wear. A breathable GORE-TEX® fabric membrane keeps moisture out and keeps your feet dry. Rocky added 200 grams of 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation to the hunting boots to help keep your feet warm even on the coldest days.The lace-up system is a lace-to-toe pattern with eyelets, D-rings and hooks for maximum adjustment.When you're walking, your feet are comfortable because of Rocky's exclusive polyurethane cushioned Air-Port™ footbed which also is perforated for air circulation.

    Rocky Bearclaws

    Looks and feels good. I haven't been in water yet, so can't verify the waterproofing. I've always had great waterproofing on all my boots except for the snake boots I bought about 15 years ago. I have a year to make sure.

    The Led Zeppelin of Winter boots

    the best outdoor boot one can buy for cold weather and wet rainy conditions outside. This boot keeps my feet warm dry and ready for any puddle, snow storm, rain downpour, or slushy parking lots. I will never buy any other cold weather boat other than Rocky Bear Claws.

    Great boots

    Very nice boots. They seem to be well made - been wearing them for a couple weeks. The treads are great - been walking up and down hills with a few inches of snow and haven’t lost my footing.The uppers are not cutting into my calves as I have experienced with other brands. Well worth the price.

    Best hunting boot I have found in awhile

    Ive had a pair going on their 3rd hunting season. I honestly had given up on Rocky boots until I bought these. I had switched to Danners for years but these boots really bought my faith back in Rocky. They certainly have outlasted the last pair if Danners that I paid way more for and those wore out quick. The bear claw is a comfortable long lasting rugged boot with great traction

    Needs a better design.

    I have had these boots for a few months and actually worked with them a couple months and I can’t wear them anymore due to losing its contour. These boots did well for a short time and now there’s no support. I will purchase another pair in the future.

    I purchased these boots on sale last year and absolutely love them. They are super comfortable. The leather is very flexible. The soul has great traction and I do a lot of walking and with the low insulation I was very happy with them.

    Great boots that lasted 6 yrs

    This is my second pair of Bearclaws. The last pair lasted me about 6 years. I wore them as a daily boot for about 3 years. I then began wearing them outside working like mowing and weedeating. They are still in my outside work boot collection. They still have descent tread on them. I love the Bearclaws. They are very comfortable and have a great tread for walking in wet areas. They also have worked great for me in the snow and ice. I highly recommend them.

    Great boot

    Excellent boot with great traction and mid weight insulation. Bought the boot for a once in a lifetime elk hunt. Killed a bull 4.5 miles from the truck, needed the support provided to get out the meat.

    Great boots

    These are absolutely one of the best most comfortable boots that I have ever bought. I have actually had multiple pairs of these boots over the years. The only negative thing to say is that Rocky doesn’t make a pair of these boots that is non-insulated. I survey electric lines for a living and one my feet all day long on all kind of terrain which makes these boots perfect with the deep lugged soles. But I do not need the insulated boots while I am in a vehicle or while I am in the office. I do really love these boots and that is my only complaint about them.

    Great all around boot

    I've had several pair of these boots and I run a tree nursery 6 days a week, I'm in wet grass every morning, the waterproofing is good and they are very comfortable I also wear them for coon and bear hunting great grip in the woods. All around good boot!

    Eyes tore the boot strings

    Bought 2 pair in the past 6 months both pair the eyes broke the shoe strings. Going thru a pair of boots strings every other day after wearing them for only 3 months

    Quality boot

    The Bear Claw is another quality boot that you expect from Rocky. Nice, all full grain leather with an aggressive tread. Perhaps overly aggressive. Appears to be a long lasting boot that will require little maintenance.

    Good boot but not a hunt boot, heavy and stretch!!

    I bought these for an Aoudad hunt and they stretched out very much even after i broke them in. Nothing but painful blisters rest of hunt. They are heavy duty but the leather was very scared up after the battle with all the cactus. These should be work boots not hunting boots.
