    Failed After 2.5 Years

    This cable has been perfect for my use case. After 2.5 years of daily use, the cable no longer carries power. I have tried cleaning out the pins thinking there was a faulty contact due to built up grime. One minor cosmetic issue I did notice is that the nylon braiding started to fray a bit at different points. I don't think this affected anything but I am pointing this out. I will be updating this review after I put the "Lifetime Warranty" to the test.

    Eh. Wouldn't buy again

    I really like Monoprice cables -- usually. And I've purchased many braided cables for AV and pro audio use. They are highly flexible and durable. These, however, are VERY rigid, almost as if the wires are solid and not stranded. The cable lengths include the ends, which makes the 1.5' cable pretty useless for me. But my big complaint is the lack of flexibility in the cable. I won't return them, but I probably won't use them either except as a backup.

    outstanding price, great quality

    These are well-made cables at a great price. I keep a stock on hand because no matter how well-made or expensive they are, they all eventually fail from normal use, and a less-expensive 3-pack helps with that by amortizing packaging and shipping. If I could ask for anything else, it'd be to bring back the steel-armored cables in a 3' length. They're perfect for use in a car or light aircraft, where they're likely to get pinched in doors or seats. The Nylon ones work but are less durable under those conditions.

    Another Good Monoprice Cable

    So far, so good. I would rate it 5 stars, but longevity is the piece I will not know about for some time. It is robustly made, so I have high hopes. I have Monoprice HDMI cables that I recommend, but they are in a static home entertainment installation unlike this lightning cable that gets daily plugging, unplugging, twisting, bending, etc.

    Sturdy and reliable

    Seems so far to be a high-quality braided cable, at a super sale price. Solidly connects to my iPhone. Stiffer than a standard cable, occasionally making it impossible to charge my phone in any orientation without a snaggable loop of cable rising from the surface. Regardless, Monoprice's lifetime guarantee can't be beat.

    Lightning to USB cables are great

    I've tried multiple lightning cables and these are the best! They are considerably more robust than the original Apple cable. The different colors make it easy to find them on my sometimes cluttered desk.

    Not so flexible

    The durability of this cable feels like it will withstand rough handling but with that comes the flexible part. The cable is very stiff and thick which makes it a little less flexible. For my use it works just fine.
