Description

Do you not have enough HDMI inputs on your TV to handle all your new HD devices? You don't need a new TV and you don't need an expensive or bulky box. Just get this simple HDMI 2x1 Pigtail Switch adapter instead!

Plug this switch into your TV's input. Then plug the cable from each of your HD devices into the switch. That's it! No special setup required, no power needed, no remotes to program. Just plug it in and start playing.

The switch has two inputs and supports full 1080p resolution with HDCP pass-through. It can handle up to 12-bits per channel (36-bit total) Deep Color and digital audio, including DTS Digital, DTS-HD Master Audio, and Dolby TrueHD. It has a 20" cable and gold-plated HDMI connectors for smooth, corrosion-free connections.

The switch will automatically switch between inputs, depending on which one is on at the time. If both source devices are on, just press the small button on the switch to change the input.

    Worked perfectly!

    I needed an additional hdmi connection on my tv in order to mirror from my iPad. This pigtail solved the problem beautifully!

    It works for the purpose required. I have an older television. It still works well . One of the HDMI inputs quit working. This expands it's life and usefulness to also connect a phone or computer.

    HDMI Swithc

    Did what advertised it would do. Only downfall is I was using for a ROKU Express+ and it stays powered up so the automatic switching can't work. I can't blame this device since it can't detect the other device when it is turned on.

    Works as advertised. I bought a female to female connector along w/ it to enable hook-up to a longer cable already in place. The combo is perfect for my needs, don't have to cross the room to press a button anymore.

    2X1HDMI WITH SWITCH W/PIGTAIL

    I got this connected to my monitor. The other two ends, one connection runs to my desktop and one to my laptop. This way I can use my monitor for either of these two connection. I also like how it automatically connects to which ever one is on. Great product.

    I tried to connect an apple tv and playstation to a TV with only 1 available HDMI port, and this didn't work at all. It doesn't stay firmly connected in the port, and doesn't get a signal from either device even if I hold it securely in place. 1 star is 1 star too many.

    No Windows 7 support?

    I upgraded computers only to find my accounting software is no longer supported and can't be loaded on the new machine. In an attempt to keep the old machine while not having to add a separate monitor I bought this. The Windows 7 machine works great without it but the video is distorted when loading and there is no video when booted up. Won't work even if it is the only computer plugged into the device. Works fine on the Windows 10 machine. My rating is based on my experience not necessarily on the device - might work great between two Windows 10 machines.
