Description

Use pre-construction brackets when installing ceiling speakers. The snap-away wings make it easy to mount your speaker first to the bracket itself, then between the studs. Made from ABS, this bracket works perfectly with joists spanning 12.5" to 29.0". This bracket is designed to fit most round 8" installed speakers. Use the speaker clamps built into the ceiling speakers to attach the bracket, it's just that easy. This affordable time saver is a must have when installing speakers into new construction, whether it be an entirely new house, business, or your home theater project. Each bracket is sold individually.

    Mono price support lacks!

    In-accurate size. I contacted support before purchasing, they told me the bracket had a 8 inch inner diameter. This Braket has a 10.2 inner diameter. The support rep didn?t even have proper details on this item, will have to return them, had to order the proper ones off Amazon because they didn?t have the 6.5 inch in stock direct (it hd an 8.3 inner diameter).. The product works, but support is lacking here big time.

    Cheap, break easily, no screws included, measure about 10" and most 8" in ceiling speakers are around 9.5" cutout so these are a bit too big.

    Don't waste your money.

    For the money , the brackets are totally not worth it. I'm sure there are better products available. If i said they are Very flimsy it would be an understatement.

    TERRIBLE!!

    If I could give this bracket a 0 rating I would! The brackets seem to be a little flimsy and fragile out of the box. I bought about 20 of these for a new construction home along with the 8" Monoprice Alpha series ceiling speakers...same brand, same size, you would think they would fit without a problem right??.... WRONG!! They don't even come close!! So I had these speakers and brackets in storage because I wasn't at that stage in construction, never tested them because I assumed they fit....well now I'm stuck with the speakers because I bought the Polk audio RCi80 speakers and they barely fit! However, it worked so it saved me from my wife killing me (I had the sheetrockers cut the holes to fit the brackets!!) So, I do not recommend these because you don't know if they will actually fit your speaker...unless you buy the Polk audio.... if you're looking for Monoprice Alpha 8 inch I have some 1/2 off!! Lol

    Great brackets

    These brackets will fit a large group of speaker manufactures. I will continue to purchase these as the price point and quality meet my needs. The extension mount arms are as good as any other manufacturer.
