Liked this coffee maker a lot until it randomly started malfunctioning. The brew light continues flashing and heating after being turned off. Because the brew function can’t be turned off the only option is to unplug it when finished brewing and I can’t leave it plugged in for fear it will continuously heat/ delay brew function no longer works.

Garbage.
3rd time purchasing this, we buy one every year because it breaks in a year. This one only lasted 6 months. Warped on side and light flashes (we have gone through all the troubleshooting already). Cheaply made rubbish. Unable to make a claim online for warranty as it won't let me submit the information. Unable to get in touch with customer service. We are switching brands now and I suggest just avoiding Mr Coffee.

Grounds in the coffee!!!
The grounds wind up in the coffee pot every time! We have tried paper filters instead of the reusable one that comes with it and we have the same result! We have been using a strainer to strain our coffee into our cups. We have always had Mr. Coffee coffee makers and I thought I’d buy a more expensive model this time. I need a new coffee maker!

one problem
I've had this coffee maker for a few weeks. it is good, brews coffee quickly, easy to use. The only big issue I has is that if your carafe is not all the way in, it will keep filling with water. Water will overflow in the filter compartment making a huge mess and get coffee grounds everywhere. So always make sure that the carafe is pushed all the way in. If it is out just the slightest you will have a huge mess to clean up in the morning.

If you like a cup full of coffee grinds then buy this. The basket overflows with water and washes 1/2 the grinds in the pot. We tried adjusting the spring and it did not help. We love Mr Coffee but this model is poorly built and is a piece of junk. Would not recommend to anyone. Buyer beware. As you can see in the picture, this was the first cup out of a full pot. Absolutely horrible.
