I love my Nanit Baby Monitor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by how easy this baby monitor was to set up, both physically and through the app. Within just a few minutes, I was able to get everything connected and ready to use. The video quality is very clear, and the audio is excellent, making it easy to see and hear my daughter. One of my favorite features is that it's a tabletop camera, so I can place it wherever I need it without worrying about mounting it. I also love being able to check in on my daughter from anywhere through the app. That extra peace of mind has made a big difference in my daily routine, especially when I'm away from home. Overall, this monitor has been reliable, user-friendly, and has helped me feel more connected to my little one no matter where I am. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this monitor!

We love our Nanit and still use it even after 3 years, whether we’re at home or traveling. The ease of the app and the data features have given us so much peace of mind, especially when our oldest was a newborn. Excited to continue to use the sleeping data for when our second little one arrives in September!

Excellent camera quality and app experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Nanit video monitor has really excellent camera quality at both day and night. I've used several monitors in my 6+ years of parenting, and this is seriously the best calrity I've ever seen. It does have four tiny red lights around the camera lens that come on when the light is low, but these didn't seem to bother my baby and I didn't notice them at all when sleeping in the same room. I'm also super impressed with the app! Since this is solely an app based monitor system, there isn't an external parent unit. The app is soooo smooth and responsive. The motion and cry detection has been very accurate in my experience. It's so comforting to know that I'll be alerted when my baby wakes up without having the app open constantly. The app can also do picture in picture so that you can see the video feed while using your phone to do other things. There are a few things to be aware of when deciding if this monitor suits your needs. The camera is stationary; it can't zoom, pant or tilt so you have to be able to set it up in a position that will give you a good constant view of the crib. This works great when baby is contained to a crib, but could be annoying when a toddler graduates from the crib and you can't change the view of the camera without physically repositioning it. It also has several subscription tiers. Personally, I'd prefer that features be included with the purchase of the device. The monitor does function with basic features without a piad subscription. My main complaint here is that only two caregivers can have access to the account without a paid subscription, from my understanding. What if a grandparent or babysitter needs access for a limited time? Without an external parent monitor, there needs to be a better solution for caregivers other than parents. Overall, this is a really great monitor! I love how the app functions and the quality of the camera.

Baby Monitor Review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I am having a pretty good experience using this baby monitor. When I received this item from stellar product testing panel, it was very easy for me to assemble and set up. I love the monitor I received because it’s so easy to take with you on the go. I am often between my house and the grandparents house so that was very nice. I do very much like the quality of the camera on the app as well, it’s so clear and when you use the speaker to talk to your baby it sounds like you are in the room with them. I appreciate the little things too, it’s nice that it tells you the temperature in the room and you can play music or noises as well and the speaker quality is great. One thing that through me off is that you have to pay for a subscription if you want it to keep video history, so you can’t play back and see if how your baby got out of the crib or maybe you missed something funny that you want to see. The subscription really makes a difference because if I was buying this and knew there was a subscription, I probably wouldn’t purchase, it just seems a little extra. That is the only reason I took some stars off my review. I do love how I can check on my little one from anywhere, especially when I’m having family watch her and when I miss herThe quality and convenience is great.

Convenient travel monitor and stand
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a seasoned mom of three, I have never owned a baby monitor that utilized an app for on-the-go usage. With my youngest still taking regular naps while my oldest two want to play in the backyard, I needed a solution to be able to check in on my napping child without worrying about being within “range” for a normal monitor. The Nanit video monitoring app has been a game changer in keeping an eye on my sleeping child while being present with my older two. I am very impressed with the quality of video the app provides as the video and sound are incredibly clear. It is so nice to be able to “check in” even when we are out and have a sitter at home with our kids. I think for a parent who may feel nervous leaving their child for whatever reason, it’s essential to put you at ease. The app will also send notifications if the monitor senses motion in the crib or a sound. My absolute favorite feature might sound silly but I love how easy it is to move the monitor around in the room with the flex stand and how easily we can travel with it. The fact that we don’t have to bring an extra bulky monitor along with us on vacation makes for one less thing to worry about. Overall I have been very pleased with this monitor and know it’s going to be a staple in our household during these early childhood years. Thank you to the Stellar panel for gifting me this monitor in exchange for my honest review.

Peace of mind
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from the stelllar product testing panel but have used a Nanit previously as well and I love it. I love that I can access the camera when I am working and check in on how the baby is doing as well as talk to him through it if I won’t get to see him for a longer period of time. I really like the memory time lapses it makes and the ability to go back through the previous recordings to see the baby moving around/check in if I heard a noise etc. I feel so much relief and honestly feel I sleep better from having it. I am a pediatrician and this is the monitor I recommend to patients due to my personal experience with it. Highly recommend!

Great quality and highly recommended
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were given the Nanit Essential Smart Baby Video Monitor as part of the Stellar Testing Panel. Setting up was very simple, straight forward, and the app was easy to navigate. Features we love: we use it during naps and sleep times mostly where my husband and I can leave the camera on and both of us will be able to monitor despite being at other parts of the house. The sound and video quality is great! It makes me feel as if I am right there in the room with them. It covers a broad picture where it’s not very often the kids are out of the picture which is nice! It also notifies me if there are any movement and lets me talk to them if needed. I do love how small and compact this is that we can take this anywhere. Very impressed with the video history and save features that if something precious happened I can easily save it. Having this as part of our routine makes it go 100x smoother! Great product and highly recommended to anyone with little ones!

The nanit camera does give
The nanit camera does give false alerts. If there is a shadown, it treats is as motion so I get a lot of false notifications. Also, the notifications to video footage is often not available. The activity tracker is behind so when you need to see the last time baby woke up, sometimes it takes hours to update. By the time the activity tracker updates, I don't need to see the information. The Nanit screen battery does not last long. Also, the nanit app drains phone battery fast.

Amazing Amazing Amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I've had a positive experience with the Nanit Essential Smart Baby Video Monitor. The video quality is excellent—it's clear, sharp, and provides a wide viewing angle, making it easy to see my little one from anywhere in the room. The audio is also very clear, so I can hear everything happening in the nursery. One feature that has helped me feel more connected to my baby is the ability to check in from anywhere. Whether I'm in another room or away from home, I can quickly open the app and see how my little one is doing. I especially love that the audio continues playing in the background while I use other apps on my phone. This makes it much more convenient to multitask without constantly switching back to the monitor. The video history and saved clips are also a nice feature. It's great being able to look back at special moments or catch up on anything I may have missed while I was busy. Having those memories saved adds extra value beyond just using it as a monitor. My favorite feature is the built-in night light. It provides a soft, gentle glow that isn't overly bright, making it perfect for nighttime without disturbing my baby's sleep. Also the camera has a feature where it’s able to tell the temperature and humidity and it’s spot on. The only drawback I've experienced is with the two-way talk feature. When I tap the microphone icon to speak, there's about a 7-second delay before it connects. While I'm holding the button to talk, I also can't hear any background noise through the monitor. It usually takes another 5 seconds after I release the button before the audio returns. While this doesn't affect the camera's excellent video and sound quality during normal monitoring, I do think the response time for the talk feature could be improved. Overall, despite the delay with the two-way talk function, the clear video, reliable audio, convenient background listening, video history, remote access, and helpful night light make this a monitor that I enjoy using and would recommend. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby monitor.

Excellent Monitor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor has been amazing! I love how versatile the Flex Stand is—it's perfect for overnights away from home or even naps at Grandma's house. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing I can still check in on my baby even when someone else is watching her. I love getting notifications right to my phone, and being able to watch from my tablet while I'm doing housework is such a bonus. One of my favorite features is being able to go back and review the night's footage. It really helps me see how well she slept and gives me a better picture of her sleep patterns. 10/10—I'd absolutely recommend it to any parent! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby monitor.

Nanit Essential Smart Monitor Review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Nanit Essential Smart Baby Video Monitor from Stellar Product Testing Panel, and so far it has been an amazing addition to our home! The biggest advantage for me has been being able to check in during a nap without having to open the bedroom door or needing to tiptoe into the bedroom. With the Nanit, I am able to quickly check to see if baby boy has fallen asleep or if he needs something. The Nanit sends immediate noise detection notifications which is very helpful for when I am further away from baby’s bedroom. I also really like being able to rewatch clips of moments I may have otherwise missed. The other day I saw that my baby was sitting in his crib, and I was able to rewatch to see that he had done this all by himself! Finally, the Nanit was incredibly easy to install, including when I travel to other places. Once it is initially set up at home (which took less than 10 minutes), all you need is to connect the Nanit to WiFi and it’s ready to go. This makes travel incredibly easy. Even though the camera is small, the quality is great, allowing me to position the camera across the room and still have a great view of baby boy. This is especially great when traveling because there is not always the ideal sleeping set up! Overall, the Nanit Essential Smart Baby Video Monitor has given me more peace of mind while my baby sleeps as it allows me to check in whenever I want without risking waking up baby! Definitely recommend as a video monitor system!

High Tech Monitor For Everyday Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a first time mom to a little one, I am very particular with what products I use. When I first received this item, I was excited with how sleek and high tech it looked but also nervous that it may be too complicated for a less tech savvy than most mom like me to use. It is easy to put together and requieres the Nanit app to be downloaded which was also easy to do. However, setting up an account on the app was difficult because it wouldn’t verify even after putting in the code provided. I had to go back to the homepage on the app and just log in. Secondly I dislike the lack of a free basic subscription plan to use the device after the free three month trial. I must say though that having the ability to see my baby while I am on the go has given me some peace of mind as a first time mom living her day to day routine. I get to feel connected even from a distance. The video history and saved clips is nice as I get to go back and show others a memory captured on camera but it’s not something I use often. My favorite thing about this product is how clear the camera footage is as I get to see my baby clearly without a pixel image distorting her frame. I received this baby monitor from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Almost perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a veteran mom with 4 kids, ages ranging from baby to almost 10. I’m also a military spouse who has mom-ed all over the world and had to configure monitors, cameras, and a whole plethora of baby tech in countries with limitations and very confusing instructions. I received the Nanit Essential baby monitor through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Here’s the tea. Basic monitors have always just been that - basic. I’ve had a few cheapies that were a great price. And worked fine….. until they didn’t. I’ve also splurged and spent big bucks on name brands JUST because of the name brand. I learned through trial and error what aspects I loved about the fancy brands, and what things worked just fine with the cheapies, but none of them quite checked every box. The Nanit essential baby monitor has been pleasantly satisfactory in almost every category. As far as quality, the product seems to check that box, as early as the unboxing. It is well packaged and atheistically pleasing appearing sleek and modern, making traditional ideas of baby monitors seem dated and cheap. Functionality has been on par, and it works as expected. It picks up motion and noise effortlessly, and I really love the temp and humidity features so I can keep an eye on my little ones level of comfort throughout the night, especially since we live in the south where heat and humidity are both a miserable factor. The con for me is the lack of mobility. I would give 5 full stars if there was a way to have a battery back up to make the monitor cordless for on the go, especially for our family who travels coast to coast to visit family and stay temporarily in a lot of places that may not have access to an outlet. Overall, this is a solid monitor. I would have definitely purchased this 3 kids ago if it existed back then! Would recommend!

Reliable Monitoring System
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This baby monitor was sent to me by Stellar Testing Panels. We currently had a different monitor system that was attached to the wall. The Nanit comes with a stand which I love! It’s easy to set up. It connects to WiFi quickly and easily. The picture quality is great! I love how it has the cry detection but doesn’t alert for every little sound. My favorite feature of this camera is how easy it is to move around the house and to take with me when traveling. It’s light weight but extremely nice quality. This company does a fantastic job and gives me peace of mind knowing I have a reliable monitor.

Helpful baby monitor for nighttime
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a parent of a 13 month old, I found this monitor to be a great option, especially for families with younger babies or children who still sleeping in a crib. It was very easy to set up and I really like how little space it takes up compared to other baby monitors. The camera can be angled to get the perfect view of the crib and the night vision is clear making it easier to check on my daughter even in a dark room. One of my favorite features is the motion and crying detection. They gave me a piece of mind knowing I would be alerted if she woke up or needed me and being able to check in from anywhere using my phone was convenient when I wasn’t right next to her room. I also enjoyed the video history feature since it was nice to go back and see what happened if I missed an alert. But that said, there were a couple of drawbacks. I wasn’t a fan of needing a subscription to access some of the features. I also noticed that because the monitor pieces click together they can disconnect fairly easily if they’re bumped. We have pets, and if one brushed against it, the camera could lose it’s signal. Overall, I think this is a well designed easy to use baby monitor with excellent video quality night vision and helpful motion and sound alerts. Well I wish more features were included without a subscription in the connection felt a bit more secure. I think it’s a great investment for parents of younger baby to spend more time in a crib!

Convenient and effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here’s a version that sounds more like something a real parent would casually type. It’s less polished and repetitive, with more natural phrasing: This monitor has honestly fit really well into our routine. We keep it on the Flex Stand over my son’s playpen in our living room, and since our house is being renovated, we’ve had to move it around quite a bit. Having something that’s easy to pick up and reposition has been really helpful. We also throw it in the car when we travel since it’s easy to set up wherever he naps. I like being able to go back and watch saved clips because it’s always the little moments you don’t realize you missed until later. We’re also big white noise machine people, so I was curious how well it would pick up sounds, but it hasn’t been an issue at all. It still catches motion, crying, and other sounds really well, and the phone notifications have been super reliable. The Flex Stand is probably my favorite feature just because it works for our setup. Between moving it around the house and taking it with us on trips, we’ve gotten a lot of use out of it. Thank you to the Stellar Product panel for providing me with this baby monitor.

Great travel monitor with lots to love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish there was an option for half stars because the Nanit Essential is more like 4.5 stars for me. This is our first wifi baby monitor, which honestly wasn't something we were looking for when we first welcomed our little one. Now that our baby is getting older and we feel more comfortable leaving her with others while we go out for a date night, I've really come to appreciate being able to check in from my phone wherever we are. The video quality is excellent (noticeably sharper than our “analog” monitor) and I love that you can save little "moments." We were able to capture our daughter going from being on all fours to sitting up for the first time in her crib, and I'm so glad we have that memory saved! The camera itself is compact and minimalist, and the included Flex Stand was a huge plus for our family since we don't have room for a wall mount or floor stand with a curious toddler moving around. The Flex Stand means we can also throw it in a suitcase and travel with it, which is probably the biggest perk of this bundle! It was quick and easy to get everything set up, which I always appreciate with baby gear. The app is super customizable in terms of notifications — whether you want motion, sounds, crying, temperature fluctuation, humidity levels, it is all adjustable. The biggest downside for me was the subscription model. I wasn't a fan of having to sign up for a trial that I'd need to remember to cancel if I didn't want to continue. I would have preferred a free basic plan with the option to upgrade for additional features. I was also a little confused by the instructions mentioning a breathing band, since my package didn't include one. I'm guessing it was just an error in the printed materials, but it did leave me wondering if something was missing from the box. I received this monitor through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but I think it has some genuinely thoughtful features that would have made an impression on me either way. The excellent video quality, convenient Flex Stand, and the ability to check in on our little one from anywhere have made me much more open to using a wifi monitor than I expected!

Amazing smart baby monitor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to try it! We’ve really enjoyed using the Nanit Essential Smart Baby Video Monitor with our one-year-old. The video quality is clear, and it gives us so much peace of mind whether we’re in another room or away from home. Being able to quickly check in on him anytime has made our daily routine feel a little less stressful. One feature I especially loved was the video history and saved clips. It was so nice to go back and watch sweet moments or see what happened while he was sleeping. Those little memories are something I know we’ll appreciate looking back on. The setup was simple, the app is easy to use, and the connection has been reliable. Overall, this monitor has helped us feel more connected to our little one while giving us confidence that we can always check in when we need to. I’m thankful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting us try it, and I would definitely recommend it to other parents!
