Nuloom Melrose Checked Wool Area Rug, 11' 6" x 14' 6", Brown

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this rug for ~6 months and my experience has been awful. The rug sheds more than my dog does and the fuzz is all over my living room. If you have a pet, this rug does not stand a chance against their paws/nails. The wool has completely come undone and it looks old and pilled.

As a first time buyer, a collection of issues has me undecided about returning the carpet as I'm loath to repeat ironing a replacement carpet so it lays flat. See attached photos for the following issues (a) not square lengthwise by 1.6 cm which might not be noticable, but the carpet lays on hardwood floors, so it is noticable (rotating the carpet to hid the irregularity results in making issue (c) more noticable) (b) 3 example pictures showing a few of many orange-flecks running through the weave of the carpet (c) half-way in to one of the length edges, the edge is narrower for 26 cm. For submitting this review, I am not looking to earn a 20%-off coupon on a future purchase, I am wanting compensation to be willing to keep the flawed carpet you sent me. Thank you for your time, attention and a consideration in responding to this review.

Bought two, 5x8 & 8x10. I LOVED this rug when I saw it online. Very thick, but quality is not the greatest. But I have had it for 7 months and after vacuuming (with the beater bar lifted) fraying, strings and tons of lint started coming off the rug. It is very itchy to lay on, and I just bought a new rug because it started to look horrible. I am so disappointed! Wish I could return it. I dont recommend this rug at all.

Hard to clean. Attempted to spot clean a stain and it bleached the rug and ruined it. (Non bleach cleaner).

Love the look of the rug, but trying to get the wrinkles out was very difficult! It does not show wear or dirt!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful quality however it looks like the pattern was rushed since the lines/pattern is not straight at all on both long sides of the rug. Considering the price we are paying for this, it is very unfortunate. I would actually like some kind of refund for this. Also I was hoping for the chestnut color to be a little more vibrant.

some water fell on the rug and the dye spread in the rug and damaging it, very poor quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been on the search for a rust colored rug but was initially concerned about buying one that was, dare I say, so cheap. I almost bought 2 rugs that were 4-5x the cost but since I have 2 little boys and a dog, took the gamble on this rug and am delighted! The rug has shown no pilling or shedding since it arrived and looks great! On day 2, one of my little guys spilled on it and it cleaned up easily. Would highly recommend this rug to anyone.

Very disappointed because I love how it looks in my living room but can’t handle the shedding. You can’t even sit on it without having to lint roll.
