    One great iron

    It’s my go to iron for pressing out yardage before I quilt. It’s the perfect combination of heat and steam. The pop up feature took a minute to get use to but when you quilt and you are making a seam lay down sometimes takes a little longer time to get it flat but with the pops up feature you can take asl the time that it takes. Great feature now I can’t live without it :blue_heart::blue_heart::blue_heart:

    Pressing

    I like the iron, but when I pick it up to use, the foot on the front bottom front stays engaged. I start to iron, and the iron catches on my material because that little foot is still out.

    There are so many things

    There are so many things I love about Oliso irons. Favorite is that it stands on its own. Stays hot for long periods, long cord, large water tank, ceramic sole plate, light weight! What I don't like is that every one, I have had 5 of the large irons so far, gives out in about a year as far as the steam part goes. You have replaced a couple but others I just had to replace on my own. Some were gifts, but still should last longer than that for the price. Yet I keep returning to buy them. Took a bit longer to replace the last one, had to go through lots of steps and then had to wait to get my replacement, so that wasn't the best either. But, I still love the features.

    What an elegant thought out iron!

    I thought I was being quite generous with myself when I bought my first one years ago during the pandemic. (Because of the price. ) My sister and I were making masks for our local first responders and people in their orbit… I know they may or may not have used them, but it made us feel like we were doing something for the cause! Anyway, it really did speed up my process of ironing the pleats! But the biggest benefit, was not having to tip it back on its bottom every time I needed two hands to adjust the fabric. I’m not exactly a spring chicken anymore, and have plenty of arthritis in my hands and wrists. That feature made all the difference in the world! I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but it makes ironing much more pleasurable, and I can do it all day long if I need to!

    Best iron on the market

    I use this iron for quilting. It heats up faster than my Pfaff sewing machine turns on! It gets hot enough to press out the most stubborn wrinkles and wayward seams. This company is first class, honoring very late and out of date warranties which no other company does to my knowledge. I will remain a loyal customer.

    Love, love, love it! But…
