    Couldn't love this okie box more. I have a picky eater and I think this helps him be more interested in eating. He loves opening the thermos and the overall features. I wish I'd bought it a year ago.

    I love these boxes, my kids won’t eat a sandwich and rarely have a cold entree they prefer, so this box lets them have their warm entree and two sides in one box—which for little kids is so much better than having to send 3-4 containers they have to open individually in their short lunch time.

    Best food container

    This is the perfect size!! It has an ice pack to keep cold foods cold, and a thermos for hot foods. The thermos can also be removed for cold foods. I love that it’s smaller than most containers like it, this way it fits in my teenagers backpack.

    Not worth it.

    The lunch box itself is convenient with the different compartments, but the thermos is useless for hot foods. Doesn’t keep food warm at all. My daughter came home from school and said that her lunch was cold. I have other food jar containers that keep the food piping hot for over 5-6 hours. I was hoping this lunchbox would do the same so that I could have everything in one container. This wasn’t it. I’ll have to go back to my other food jars for hot food and just have different containers for other things in my daughter’s lunch bag. Giving it 3 stars because the box itself is convenient. Maybe I’ll use the food jar for something cold instead.

    "Cold" side was 70F four hours later

    I decided to test how effectively this box works as advertised and the results were disappointing. I froze the ice pack before using and also put boiling water in the thermos on the hot side for 10 minutes. I then filled the cold side with an old refrigerated pack of sprinkle cheese that I was going to throw out anyway. I heated up leftover Mac and cheese to put in the hot thermos. Finally, I put my refrigerator thermometer in with the cheese to test how well the box would keep the cold side within the safe zone for four hours. At the four hour mark, the mac and cheese in the thermos was warm, not hot which I guess would pass. However the cold side was an alarming 70F, putting the cheese in the unsafe zone to eat. Unless you plan on putting non refrigerated food on the cold side, the ice pack side seems useless. I don’t think this product is designed well to do what it is advertised to do. I am returning it as defective.
