Not for sensitive mouths
I decided to try this toothbrush to replace my broken Philips toothbrush (it was several years old) I saw the review on this app and online and thought it would be with a try . First - the toothbrush is not the one that is pictured on the App. Second, my gums are red and sore after each use even on the gentlest setting. I’m not sure I will be able to return it, but I will be calling in the morning. I hope so, since it’s so expensive and I will have to buy a new one

No travel case included
The photo itself is misleading, this toothbrush does not come with a travel case, so I never got to use this brush. I heard good things though, so don't let this dissuade you from trying it, just simply know there's no travel case with it. (Even in the drop down menu of specifications there is no travel case included)

It’s disgusting once you realize how much mold accumulates over time and there’s no proper way to clean it even with changing out the head the other piece gets so nasty. I felt sick when I realized what I had been using to brush my teeth

Mold requires organic material to grow, which isn’t present in our brushes. While it’s rare, mold can develop after use if the brush is stored in a damp area or comes into contact with certain cleaning agents or soaps that can make the plastic porous. To help keep your toothbrush free of build up, rinse the brush head under running water with the handle on. Then switch it off, remove the head, clean both parts separately, and dry them before reattaching. If you're feeling unwell, we recommend discontinuing use of your iO 3. Disappointed
Charger stopped working after only 1 month if use. Luckily I had an extra charger from an older toothbrush that worked with it. Toothbrush itself is ok, but you have to be looking in the mirror while you are brushing to see the lights for the pressure sensor. Disappointing 😞

good brush but had missing travel case
Returning because it did not have the travel case in the box even though it’s says it is included. I like the toothbrush but I want everything the box states to be included.

Battery failure on TWO of these within 3 months! TWO!!!
We like the toothbrush, but this is the second one we bought that had the battery fail within just a few months! We keep it on the charger and use daily. The warranty is a joke because the fine print states we have to pay for shipping, then wait weeks or even months for repair....what are we supposed to do then? Reading reviews from others shows these toothbrushes have a known battery problem. We might suck it up and buy yet another one, and if that goes, it's all going in the trash, and we will just use another brand of sonic toothbrush. We never had a problem with the series 2 brushes. Oral B must have cheaped out and got inferior batteries for this new overpriced toothbrush.

Collects Debris
Brush head collects debris and gets very dirty inside the neck. I’ve had other Oral-B electric brushes and this is the first time I have seen this. It took me months to notice and it was not pretty. 🤢I now rinse it out after each use. I wish I could return it but I noticed it too late. It cleans teeth very well but this new design is poor.

It’s terribly designed brush; as others mentioned, mold and residue are being collected on the head even though I rinse and air dry it, more than I’ve ever seen in any other electric toothbrush, which makes it disgusting and impossible to use after max two weeks.
