Works like a charm
Don’t look for any other insect repellent and buy this one. It works like a charm. It keeps most of the insects away and if some do pop up, they’re dead whenever I see them in the area that I sprayed the product initially. I sprayed the all the baseboards in my house, windowsills, entryway points, and it repels insects and kills them. I really like that it uses batteries and doesn’t need to be charged, and has plenty of lock settings on it to prevent accidental spraying. It’s really easy to use.

All I have to do is just install the sprayer gun then spray directly into the area you want to use, 100% sure you will never see any insects or ants or anything crawling on the ground appear again. No strong smell but work amazing. Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ortho Home Defense Insect Killer is one of my go-to products every spring when the sugar ants start coming inside looking for water and sweets. I sprayed the perimeter of my home along with common entry points and moisture areas like under sinks, around pipes, toilets, tubs, and windows. I noticed a significant reduction in ants coming inside, and the ones that were getting in did not stick around long. What I really appreciate is how effective and long-lasting it is. One application seems to continue working for weeks. I also have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a child who is sensitive to products, so safety is important to me. I simply allow the treated areas to fully dry before letting everyone back into the spaces, and it has always been a no-brainer product for our household. If you are dealing with seasonal ants or other crawling bugs, this product absolutely gets the job done.

the entire box was wet from this spilling normally a piece of tape and a bag is tied around all liquids, No bag No tape and a mess all of my stuff smells like chemicals

Doesnt Work For 12 Months
The sprayer works really well. It doesn’t leak or drip like some of the other brands we’ve used. However, the pesticide itself has not been sufficient. It does not work for 12 months after use. It barely keeps insects at bay for 2 months. Won’t buy again.

This product is only labeled for the control of those insects listed on the label. It does take time for the insecticide to affect the target insect, as it does not have any ingredient that immediately immobilizes the insect upon contact. For harder to kill insects like cockroaches it may take up to 6 days for them to die. 12 month control applies to indoor control of ants, crickets, spiders (excluding black widow and brown recluse spiders), carpet beetles, earwigs, firebrats, moths, and silverfish. This control is achieved whent the product is applied to non-porous surfaces. It may be necessary to reapply the product every 1 to 2 weeks until eggs/pupa have emerged and are in a treatable condition. The bottle size is generous without being bulky and it stores easily when not in use. One of the standout features is the spray design itself. The grip fits comfortably in the hand and feels natural to use, which makes treating larger areas much easier. The spray function also works extremely well with impressive range and two useful settings. The mist option is great for covering broader outdoor areas like mulch beds while the targeted stream works perfectly for cracks in cement and tighter spaces around the home. The application feels controlled and efficient rather than messy or awkward. Most importantly, the product does exactly what it promises. It has kept both the inside and outside of my home insect free throughout this season, reliable easy to use and thoughtfully designed overall.

I am not comfortable using it indoor so we kept it for outdoor only , since i don't want to get much chemicals inside. We don't have a lots of bugs inside after doing the spray 3 times a year so I guess it is really working very easy to use and following the instructions.

My mothers uses this at her house and so it was an easy yes trial for it. It dries fast, minimal smell and it goes a long way around house!
