  • A: I just received this sharpener and it does sharpen crayons quite well. Not sure about the wax building up on the blade over time but so far it works fine for crayons.

    See pic. It flattens tips, does NOT sharpen to a point at ALL. Tried this on high quality pencils in hard, medium, and soft. I know it’s cheap, but just wanted an extra sharpener to carry in an art bag on the go. I wouldn’t even give this to a 1st grader.
