    Loved them...but broke too quickly

    Incredibly disappointing. I LOVED these boots, they fit my semi-retired senior gelding great and you could tell he benefited from the extra support they provided him. I would have given them 5 stars! But, it was too good to be true. One boot's strap started fraying after a couple rides, which wasn't a big deal to me. But then, much to our disappointment, that boot's strap ripped after only about 20 light rides. I can probably get another couple rides out of it before it goes completely, and maybe a few more if I sew it, but it really sucks. The other one is holding up great, so perhaps I just got a defective boot. But, I can't justify paying another $70+ dollars for a new pair that may break again after only a handful rides. I had a pair of these about a decade ago that lasted for years with 5+ rides a week under much harsher work and terrain, so I was expecting these to last with the light work we do now on good footing...but I guess not. A major bummer.

    Very supportive!

    The Professional's Choice Sports Medicine Boots II are my favorite schooling boots. I use these boots on my horses when we go out hacking or trail riding. I love that they help support my horse's tendons and ligaments, while also offering protection from interference. My 16.2-hand Thoroughbreds wear a size large on their front legs and they fit perfectly. I simply hose them off after rides and let them air dry.

    Simple & Effective

    My gelding is not very tall, but he is certainly stocky and has thick legs, which makes booting a challenge. It has not been an easy task to find boots that work for him, but these fit the bill! Unlike newer SMBs, these are not form-fitting, so they are perfect for his legs. Not only are these SMB IIs economical, they are also easy to put on, and can be hosed off after use. Very happy with this purchase!

    Awesome boot for schooling protection

    Looking for a boot with extra support and protection for my Thoroughbred gelding. I normally school him in dressage with a lot of circles and lateral work in all three gaits. After a couple of rides I can say I and really satisfied with my purchase. My gelding is 16.3 hands and he fits perfectly in the mediums. I also got charcoal grey and the color is just gorgeous.

    Great boot for my low pastern horse

    Happy with the purchase. Was suggested by a trainer for one of my horses. Seems to provide him with good support. He thinks he's a barrel horse now!

    Made my horse go lame

    I bought these a week ago, because my horse was allergic to his old boots, so I got these instead. They were great at first because they got rid of the rash and were good for his legs, but then they made him go lame. These boots are like ace bandages when you put them on at first they are snug and good, but then they tighten up and cause the leg to prevent blood flow and etc. My horse is now lame for a few weeks because of soft tissue damage. I do not recommend.

    Equine boots

    Returned the boots. They just did not fit right like the ones I had which were SMB III. Could not find the 3’s in your inventory so I went directly to Professional Choice to get them.

    Repeat purchase and love it!

    I have been buying these splint boots for over 15 years now and love this product. I always know what to expect and find the quality I know. I use these when training my horses and going on trail rides and know his legs are well protected.

    they are very good - I had the 4 set and my mare bit off the elastic on front right boot so had to repalce it - otherwise would not have had to replace- good support and flexible

    Love them!

    Love them so far! Bought these to put on my mare when she is turned out, because she keeps running into the fence and banging up her legs. Because this is SoCal, and we live in dust and dirt, I needed something that I could easily shake out or rinse off the dust. Also wanted the support these provide, as she is a 4 yo OTTB that was rescued from a rescue, and I want to make sure she won't injure herself while she is being brought back into condition and re-started. These are definitely the perfect boot for the job. They are very well-made, and I believe they will last a long time.

    Love the new boots!

    These boots replaced a very sad looking pair of fleece lined boots and are just great. The 4 velcro straps ensure that you can fit the boots exactly as you want them. The sizing is generous so I could probably have gone with small instead of medium, but overall I am very happy.

    Hope they last a long time

    Bought these as my gelding has a right hind suspensory injury. That right hind boot has been fitting fine but it's taken a while to figure how how to put the left hind boot on so that it can't wrinkle/ride up under the suspensory strap. The sizing seems to be correct based on my fetlock and cannon measurements and what professionals choice said should fit. They were a great value because I got them at a discount of about 50%! No idea if they're preventing further damage to the suspensory but they should help.

    Nice boots

    Finally had to replace a similar pair of Professional’s Choice boots that I’d had for 20+ years. Not in use continuously for all those years, but impressive nonetheless. These seem very supportive and the size small fits my 14.3 hand horse’s front legs perfectly.
