Needs constant factory reset

Would be great but the ambient sound controls keep getting disabled and I need to factory reset several times in a day. Unfortunately problem occured a few days after return window closed so I'm stuck with them. I won't be buying refurbished (or new) from here again.

$300 Sony head phones delivered broken, not refurbished as Target said. Worse, they are non-returnable. Target rip off!

Really frustrating experience

I bought this headphone thinking it would be a safe purchase since it was coming directly from Target. Unfortunately the experience has been really frustrating. When I tried to return the headphones within the return window, the store told me their system could not match the item to my order even though Target was the one who shipped it to me exactly like that. Because of that system issue they refused to process the return. I contacted customer support hoping they would actually look into it, but that was not helpful either. I was told it would take 7 to 10 business days to investigate, but they responded with a denial about an hour later, which honestly made it feel like no real review happened. Buying refurbished already requires some trust, and situations like this make it hard to feel confident purchasing refurbished electronics again. If something goes wrong, you would expect the retailer to stand behind their return policy. That unfortunately was not my experience here.

Great Product. Great Service. Great Price.

I'd been researching higher end headphones and the Sony XM6 was a top contender. That said, it was hard to convince myself that any consumer headphone was worth $460. Well, I stumbled on this refurbished service/option and at $255, I was willing to roll the dice and I'm so glad I did. The desceription said the product was in excellent condition and I fully agree with that for the product I received. Everything, headphones, case, and accessories were spotless and blemish free. It came in a plain cardboard box, rather than the original branded pkg, but that's ok - pkg just gets thrown/recycled anyway. Fit and comfort are excellent. Sound quality is clear, crisp, full and lush. Sony's sound app with EQ is a perfect and, in my opionion, a necessart companion. Target's service was also top notch - status updates were sent at each step of the prep, travel and delivery process. It takes a little longer to receive (6 days in my case) since it comes from a third party electronics refurbisher, but I'll gladly take that wait to save $200 on a perfect condition product. I not only highly recommend this Sony XM6 headphones, but I also enthusiatically recommend Target's certified refurbished option if it's available for purchase.
