  • A: Not well. Because the air blows from underneath your hair as opposed to above with a regular dryer, it creates fly aways. The elliptical brush straightens but doesn’t cream volume or curl.

Good but lasts less than 2 years

Lasts about 1.5 year. I have had this for about a year and a half and I really enjoyed the way it left my hair. It did warm up quite a lot and sometimes I would burn my hand, but I do like it. I am upset that the motor started failing and it doesn’t blow as much air as it would before and the brush itself gets very hot now. I use it a few times a week for about six minutes each time I do my hair, which I don’t think is a lot. It only lasted me about a year and a half before it started failing.

here's hoping for good things

I haven't used it yet, but I found this on a great Sale 40% off! I had the original model they made but I hated the switches being on the bottom@ the cord - it was awkward & a pain to use & finally just gave it away - reading other reviews, I'm glad other owners of the original also mentioned it is lighter weight, too.

Detachable dryer PULLS HAIR

I needed to replace my old Revlon Volumizer Hair Dryer Brush. I got the one that detaches for easy travel. I hate it! It pulls my hair because my hair gets caught in the groove under the bristles that detaches. DON’T get the detachable model. You will regret it! Im going to purchase the original again

Fire hazard!

I have very thick and long hair so this worked great for me until this morning. The element burst and caused sparks to fly while I was using it. According to other reviews this is fairly common. This is a fire hazard and should not be on the market. I contacted revlon but have not heard back.

Everyone dream coming true. As an international traveler this is the one tool that doesn’t stay at home. I get my hair dried and straightened with one tool. When this item works it’s great. Unfortunately I bought this in November and it stopped working correctly by March. It gets so hot that it smells like something is burning. Unfortunately it’s the second dryer that has done this! I thought the first time it was a fluke so I gave it another chance and unfortunately this newer one lasted much less than the original.
