    Quality control gone down, flavor lacking

    These used to be my absolute favorite chips. I’ve been disappointed by the past five bags , I was thinking I just got some duds (super pale, lack of seasoning ) but this has been consistent upon recent bags . I haven’t had a good bag of these since 2025 . So disappointing because I love when they are dark red from the seasoning amount , but they have recently lacked flavor and seasoning. Not sure if they changed manufacturers or what , but I would love the old formula back!

    Rancid Smell and taste

    Smell rancid which is happening with so many packaged foods these days. Companies are probably re using old oils or using lower quality oils. I wont be repurchasing, too expensive to be risking a rancid bag. Such a shame cause they have and amazing spicy taste.

    Big dissapointmnt

    I thought I was buying regular kettle potato chips, but apparently, "fuego" means fire in another language, so I got kettle potato chips that are so hot, they are inedible.

    Still Very good, but not the same

    I really love the Siete Fuego chips, but the last couple batches haven't been the same as I have been used to. There's significantly less seasoning in the bag in total and the oil feels like it's not as "fresh" like there using it for more batches then before. I'm not sure if this is related to the PepsiCo take over or not but it would be great of they returned to there former glory.

    I used to love these chips so much, now that Pepsi took over the fuego chips taste like old oil and have a smell to them. Not a fan and very disappointed with corporations taking over and ruining good things. Corporate greed always seems to win.

    They're Okay

    I love the fact that these are dairy free and they’re also cooked in a better oil than the typical chips (avocado oil I believe). Those reasons make these chips 5 stars, but I had to deduct a couple of stars for the flavor. I’m not super crazy about the flavor of these, but they’re decent. I’ve bought them twice and I don’t feel compelled to repurchase them. I’m open to trying other flavors that might interest me though. I’d love it if they released a jalapeño flavor.
