Soundcore Anker Life Q20 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Headphones

Love them so far. Sound is great and thorough. They're very comfortable, too, which is what I was looking for.

I've had these headphones for almost 10 years and they finally gave out recently. They were perfect until about year 7 and then replacement ear cups and some electrical tape was able to make them last for another 3 years. The failure point was the hinge mechanism's axel breaking free from the plastic, resulting in a loss of ear cup seal. If you plan to use these primarily or only at a desk or get a hard-shell case for them, you could probably make these last for more than 10 years. I'd recommend avoiding using these in extremely hot or cold environments if you want the plastic / pleather to last. They have great ANC for their price, decent sound quality, excellent battery life (I found myself charging once every 2 weeks), and only get uncomfortable after extended & continuous use (6+ hours). I would highly recommend these headphones for anyone on a budget that enjoys ANC. Looking forward to upgrading to one of Soundcore's higher end models!

Having always desired noise canceling headphones, I purchased the Q20's (renewed). I choose to enjoy classical orchestral music and put the headphones to the test by listening to: The final movement of the Saint-Saens symphony number 3 (organ,) The finales of - Dvorak's 9th symphony (From The New World,) Sibelius' second symphony, Resphigi's Pines Of Rome (yes, music featured at the end of Disney's Fantasia II,) Rimsky-Korsakov's Scherazade, and Hovaness' eruption of Mount Saint Helens and its final 5 minutes. I was totally blown away by what I heard! These wonderful headphones have put me squarely into the concert hall with their sound quality. They have completely enthralled this 77 year old and I'm so looking forward to future music adventures.

When new, these were really great -- very comfortable for the price, and the audio and electronics worked well. The ear seal provided good noise attenuation when active with a nicely balanced audio spectrum. After 1.5 years of daily use you can see the inner seams of the ear cushions have released exposing the foam and they are now shedding the thin black plastic of the faux leather. The ear cushions no longer provide a good seal to ambient noise. I will be requesting a replacement set of cushions (cross my fingers!).

Im so glad I was able to so easily replace my ear pads. My Q20i headphones are a life line for me. They help me reduce overstimulation and help me focus. Sometimes I even sleep in them (not recomended). Being able to replace the damage ear pads was so much more in reach for me than just replacing them! And customer service was great! I couldn't find them at first (sold out) and customer service was able to send me a link to the page it would be on. I set an alert and as soon as they were available i was able to buy them. They definitely should come with instructions. But I figured it out. I used a flat metal cuticle pusher and a triangular shaped phone case opener. But you really feel like you are breaking something in the head phones. So the lack of instructions made that concern worse. But id still give it a 10 out of 10. Ooo! They should make a video with visual and verbal instructions and then just email a QR code when you buy replacement parts! So they save ob printing fees.

I love these headphones so much. Altho I do have to replace my current pair, but that'd after around a school year of like 13 hours a day usage, but for like just more causal use these are awesome and super affordable for the quality.

I bought these to use on an international flight. I tested them at home and the noise cancelling feature works great. Music sounds awesome too. My friend bought $350 Bose headphones. I can’t wait to try her pricier pair against mine during the flight. I’ll update when i try them on the plane.

It's time for an upgrade, so I thought I'd share my honest thoughts before moving on to a new pair of headphones! I can proudly say that the Life Q20 sound quality and noise cancellation is FANTASTIC for the price, and they are very sturdy! However, after 4 years of use, the volume doesn't get as loud as it did in the beginning, and the fabric around the ear cups has worn away completely. Aside from that I would argue that these headphones are of the best value for your money. Also, I absolutely love the start-up sound. Thank you, Soundcore!

Do not plug this into any normal usb power supply or connection. It will burnout since it is rated only for .7 amps and typical usb supplies provide 2.4 or 3 A. I burned two out before realizing this. Do not buy.

My Previous headphones did not play music or do Bluetooth and noice cancelling was good but not. These headphones ARE. THE. BEST! And the noise cancelling? THE. BEST my cafeteria is so loud it helps with the noise everywhere I go!

Amazing quality and I recommend. they last about a couple years and longer if you're good at taking care of things.

I received a set for Christmas and have been nothing but happy with these. Excellent sound, great app and EQ, and comfortable. I've had no complaints about call quality.

I absolutely adore these headphones. The sound quality is super good, they have good suction, great noise cancellation, and look/fit amazing on my head. However, they were a little over a year old when the right earphone stoped working/playing sound. Other than that, I think they’re great and I will probably get another pair!

The LED on these does not stay lit when in use. I contacted customer support who said this was intended "to save battery". How absurd! That little LED uses almost no battery at all. But forgetting to turn the headphones off when setting them down of course kills the battery completely. No auto-off feature either. I would return these but they were a gift. I suggest you buy something else. Maybe find some headphones that were designed by a person who uses them every now and then!

Was gifted this product for christmas and it is by far the worst pair of headphones I have ever had the displeasure of using. One device being connected was working fine. However I made the fatal mistake of trying to connect the headphones to my computer and phone which completely broke them they are now unable to stay connected to ANY device for longer than 30 seconds no matter what I do. I have restarted the headphones multiple times (which the supossed manual didn’t even tell me how to do I had to find a third party youtube video) restarted my computer and phone forgotten the device on everything and then restarted everything again nothing works these headphones are just that poorly made that they cannot even function as headphones. I hadn’t used anker before this and I most certainly won’t be fucking using any anker product after. Bit the bullet and contacted the gifter for a reciept so I could return them. Save yourself the hassle and buy headphones that ACTUALLY WORK! Just google the headphones and numerous reports of people having the same issue will litter the search results.

The fact alone that you offer these replacements at such a reasonable price will definitely drive me back to Soundcore to replace my headphones when they eventually fail.

I’ve had my headphones for 3 years and they still work like a dream. The music is clear and crisp and the noise canceling is so good! They’ve only recently begun to get a bit worn down on the ear cuffs but I will definitely be re-buying a pair of these later

I got mine five years ago, use them everyday, and they're only now starting to have some problems. I do wish the pleather coating stayed on the fabric better though. That peeled off after 2 1/2 years.
