    Buyer Beware - Strong Odor

    After 2.5 years, these bins began emitting a harsh chemical smell so strong it contaminated everything inside. All stored bedding had to be rewashed, and the odor persists. This appears to be serious plastic off-gassing, not a minor issue. We stopped using them immediately due to health concerns. I would strongly advise against storing items in these bins.

    Hi Otto! We are sorry to hear the inconvenience you have experienced with your 60 Qt. ClearView™ Latch Wheeled Underbed Box having a strong odor. Our Storage products are made of polypropylene plastic. Polypropylene sometimes has a plastic smell (especially the clear products) when first purchased that dissipates fairly rapidly once the product is unpacked and put to use. Washing with a lemon scented or grease fighting detergent and rinsing thoroughly helps dispel any noticeable odor. Detergents sometimes adhere to plastics and you will want to wipe and rinse well.     Great storage, need lids

    I have bought many of these the last couple of years to store items and for moving. They are great! My problem is that I have about 6, 66qt latch lid storage containers and the lids have broken. Is there a possibility of purchasing 6 lids from you directly? I can seem to find them anywhere else. Thanks

    Perfect for toys!
