Strawberries Wand Cat Toy - Boots & Barkley™

The strawberry broke off a day after we got it :/

Cats loved it but shredded it immediately. I could see it being a big safety concern if they ingested the styrofoam or felt.

Do Not Buy, the felt around the strawberries is very easy to come off during play time, bad durability and the inside is styrofoam, harmful to pets if ingested and makes a mess, bad for safety

Within 28 hours of purchasing you'd think this is owned for years. Looks old and ratty but my cats enjoyed it for a day only. Also the string could be a 1.5' longer. And why put foam in the middle of something my pets eat? Especially when it's shedding and falling apart everywhere seems like a hazard. Wish I could get a refund for this junk looked cute so disappointed. When I came home from the store one cat immediately grabbed it out of the shopping bag and ran to play with it. They enjoyed it but sadly is garbage now.

This toy has a strange effect on my tabby, he goes absolutely FERAL for the strawberry wand. This is the most entertaining toy he’s had by far, there is just something about it that makes him go crazy. That being said, it is felted, so of course it isn’t going to hold up for very long. Leaving this toy out for free play is out of the question, you will return to what used to be felted strawberries, and is now a pile of fluff and styrofoam. I still think it is a worthwhile purchase purely due to the fact that my easily bored, hard to please tabby boy is absolutely obsessed with it. I will probably continue to buy these when necessary and we will do short supervised play sessions.

My kitten played once with it and it already is shredding. I’m returning.

Do not waste your money. It sheds easily with light play. I'm incredibly disappointed in the quality. My cats love the toy, but they need to be monitored if it's laying out. Be careful because it's easy for your cat to swallow the bits that come off

Super cute but full of styrofoam. My cat destroyed within mins and we tossed this.

Way too easy to rio to pieces for a one month old kitten. Foam went everywhere

not a safe toy, cat got ahold of the toy where i hid it and ate the foam. he threw up everywhere

Just made of foam wrapped in fabric that my cat was able to take off and expose the foam within 5 minutes.. not safe for cats!

Cats rip apart the fuzzy strawberries within minutes.

This toy only lasted 5 minutes before the cat tore it to shreds. I’ve never had that happen with a cat toy and I’ve had cats for 30 years.

i mean he liked it…a little too much

My cat loved it but would tear off the outer layer leaving red fuzz all over the place and within a month broke into the center which is just styrofoam so I had to throw it away. She also liked to chew the wand and shredded/splintered the wood. Definitely don’t leave your cat unsupervised with this. If you’re looking for a wand toy there are much better options.

My cat is absolutely obsessed. She likes to gently chew on them when we're not actively playing with them together. She's not into destroying like other reviews say. I hope more felt style toys come to Target!

I am extremely disappointed with this product. Despite the prominent FSC certification—which implies a level of environmental and material safety—only the wooden wand is natural. The "strawberry" lures are constructed with a fragile foam/styrofoam core that is easily shredded. My one-year-old cat chewed through the material in LESS THAN 24 hours, exposing the foam and creating a significant ingestion hazard. It is misleading to market a pet toy as "sustainable" when the interactive components are made of cheap, hazardous synthetics. I now have to monitor my cat for potential internal blockages and face potential veterinary expenses. I do not recommend this product for anyone with an active cat. I wish I read the reviews before I bought this terrible product.
