I honestly couldn’t even keep this in my kitchen long enough to tell if it works. The smell is so bad it was making me gag. I whipped it out my back door

This did not catch 1 fruit fly for me … left it out for a few days. total waste of money

Does not work, only 2 gnats caught in kitchen (near sink and near fruit bowl). No flies caught. Nice idea but a waste of money.

I put 2 to catch flies and haven’t seen any in this containers. They are out there in kitchen for 1 week now

Save your money and buy some apple cider vinegar. I filled this on 3/14 and it is dried out as of 3/31. Supposed to last 45 days.

Doesn't work

Had them out for days and have not gotten one fly. Went out and bought the more exspensive blue light traps and those are actually working.

You can actually make your own solution that works somewhat but store buying one from Terro is still the most effective. I get a pack every year for summer. It does catch the most fruit flies indoors. I use it along with the Zevo lights. You need to increase the number of traps if you have a severe infestation and place them strategically in areas that attract the flies. It takes a couple weeks to catch almost all of the flies. I think others who think it doesn’t work may not understand the process. It doesn’t happen overnight. I think for the common fruit flies, it’s the most effective trap that I’ve been able to find. For reviewers who claim it doesn’t work, either they have a severe infestation and didn’t place enough traps or set it up correctly by making sure there’s a good amount of solution, didn’t give the traps enough time (1 to 2 weeks) on top of always making sure there’s enough solution or their insect is not the common fruit fly.

This is the best way to get rid of fruit flies!

Days later and still no fruit fly caught. I feel like making my own solution of apple cider vinegar combining, dish soap, and optionally sugar into the container! Will see

I have had 4 out for 3 weeks and not a single fly has used any of them. waste of money.

Flies hover over the unit but will not go in like they are aware it’s a trap. Way better off with the Zevo blue light traps.

It really works to get fruit flys/nats!

they didn't really catch anything on their own. maybe 1 in 24 hours. they are attracted to it but they just stay around the outside and dont go in. BUT! If you have one of those sticky gnat traps that you use for plants and stick it on top it works like magic

These absolutely work 100 times better than the other brands. I purchased the expensive $15 ones that didn’t catch a single bug, with these all of the fruit flies were gone within a few days.

These Do not work, they are a waste of money.

Purchased this 4 days ago and ALL of the flies are gone. Yes it is true they sit on top for a little bit but you have to be PATIENT for them to go inside it’s not gonna happen right as you set the thing down as some other reviewers may think LOL.

I bought these on clearance and glad I did. While they caught a couple fo flies, it was just that, only a couple. It isn't worth it if you have to pay full price. You would be better off just googling it and using home remedies. They would be just as easier and a lot cheaper.
