Terro Disposable Fly Trap

I bought this alongside the RESCUE! Outdoor Disposable Fly Trap to see which one actually works. Turns out, one of them does. The RESCUE! trap was catching flies within the first hour. The Fly Magnet spent two weeks just hanging there, really taking in the scenery, and managed to collect maybe 10 flies while RESCUE! cruised past 100. Whether it's the entrance design or the attractant, something about this thing just isn't compelling to flies. I bought 2 but returned one after testing the first one. The smell, though. I want to be careful how I say this. It smells like poop. Not a little bit like poop. Not poop-adjacent. Rotten, very committed poop, hanging in your backyard, getting stronger every day, while catching almost no flies. That's the full experience. You're not getting a fly trap so much as an outdoor poop smell subscription with very poor cancellation results. I actually like Terro a lot. Their ant baits are great and I'll keep buying them. But this one I'm going to quietly pretend I never purchased and never speak of again, except for this review. Go with RESCUE! Fly Trap.

Put it by the trash. Caught all the flies

Not a single fly. Prime environment. Instructions followed. Allowed bait to marinate and evaporate before judgement passed. 2 days, no flies.

Its working! not sure why this didnt work for others. I have had it for 3 days and the bag is attracting many flies and it doesnt have a faul odor as other fly traps I have used before. I will be buying and and replacing every few weeks.

I hung 2 of these in my yard in the recommended areas and caught no flies. These did not work at all.

This is the only fly trap I've ever bought that didn't work at all. Flies have absolutely no interest in it. It caught not one fly. It was really easy to use, but that doesn't matter if it doesn't work.
