Cannot Use for Online Purchase
Purchased this card 6/626. I tried to use it to purchase online and it was declined. The website on the back confirms it is activated with the correct amout BUT there isn't any place online to register this card, which makes it impossible to purchase anyting online. The vendor cannot verify it. It was repeatedly declined. There needs to be a place to at least register it so that it can be used online if needed.

BUY BEWARE of VISA Gift Cards
BUYER BeWARE !!!!! This card always seems to be DAMAGED! So why are they still selling this on the market?! To me, it must be a SCAM CARD! Like, they use the money that you put on the card, but you can't get the money out until months later once you report it. Never again will I buy from this company? Straight 🗑️

I purchased 3 gift cards, and 2 of them upon opening were found to have been tampered with and did not work - part of a scam. I went back to the store, and they shared that the cards were loaded properly on their end, so their counts helped, and I had to file a claim with Visa. Safe to say I won’t purchase another gift card.

Y'all (Target) should require everyone who buys e-gift cards online to pass an English literacy test. I've never seen such a large population of people all have the same issue. It's crazy because I've bought several of these and never experienced these life-altering issues like all of the others. It's really not that difficult of a process, but after reading these reviews, it seems as if you all went to school together... Or should I say "attempted" school together! It's too bad you can't read reviews for these while shopping in store. I bought this in person at Target as a gift for my boyfriend. He opened it and the numbers were scratched off!!! It's not usable. Honestly, I'm shocked that Target continues to sell these since they are so susceptible to scams. I guess cash or digital gift cards are a better gift anymore. I really hope Target can help me get a refund. $100 is a lot to lose in this economy.

Have bought several over the years and did have one where it was a fraudulent one. Also you have to wait a full hour before you can use. When you call the number on the phone or dos tell you that but not online. The rest I’ve had no problems with. However there are some online places it doesn’t work. So in stores mostly. But they do work. Seems they’ve redone the packaging in 2026 to help prevent the fraud happening. Idk if it’s the card manufacturers employees or others handling it along the way.

Tampered Gift Visa card
Do not buy! Just like the other reviewers, last 4 digits are scratched off & no verification code. Since it’s not a Target card, they cannot do anything but refer you to a credit card service number. I tried several times to get this resolved but to no avail & I’m out $100 + $6 activation fee = $106 loss.

Wont work
We got this card brought it home tried to use it and the last four numbers of the card were scratched off and the security code was scratched off and the swipe tab doesn’t work. We tried calling target and they said they can’t do a refund so we are out $100 and Visa won’t do anything because we don’t have the last four on the card.

I bought this card for my grandson for Christmas and in January he went to use it and was unable to. The numbers on the card were scratched and the 3 digit code was missing. We called customer service and they gave us the run around. I called target and they were unable to do anything because the purchase was valid but they gave me the customer service website for the card and told me to file a complaint for missing/invalid card for replacement. They said to use the number on my receipt for the purchase of the card. I did exactly that and within 3 days I got an email saying new card was sent and I should get it 7-10 business days. Today I finally got a new card and all is good the card is good. I will never buy this brand again but I am glad they corrected the problem.

Dont buy
Can’t add to digital wallet, so you wouldn’t be able to pay in store. I haven’t found a single website that will accept the card. It’s not accepted anywhere visa debit cards are accepted. I don’t even know what to do with it
