Q: Does it change colors or fade over time ?

A: As with all gold plated jewelry, the plating is just the outer layer, and in time it will lose some of the yellow color. There are ways to care for the ring to help prolong the gold coloring, but the base is white sterling silver, so in reality the gold plating can only hold for so long before it starts losing some of the yellow/gold look
