Nancy Twine founded Briogeo—Brio meaning “full of life” and Geo representing “earth and nature”—inspired by the family tradition of making natural beauty products from scratch & the knowledge that making effective beauty products is possible without harsh ingredients.

Beasley created Sunday II Sunday after seeing his niece, an athletic swimmer, have to choose between fitness & hair maintenance. He was inspired to create a line of products to empower women to never need to compromise an active lifestyle for hair care.

Motivated by a mission to create clean hair care that performs, Hannah Diop & Issa Rae founded Sienna Naturals, a regimen for textured hair & scalp health to help you express yourself without compromise.  

After visiting her homeland of St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Shelley Davis learned the value of herbs & plant-based ingredients and was inspired to found Kinky-Curly, a hair care line with natural, organic ingredients.

After years of making beauty products out of her kitchen with the health & wellness of her family in mind, Janell Stephens founded Camille Rose, a line of high-end, clean, ingredient-inspired blends for hair, body & skin.

Inspired by the urge to set a new beauty standard, Melissa Butler decided to shake things up by offering bold & diverse options that are also vegan & cruelty free, all at prices everyone can afford.

Created by Harvard Business School grads, KJ Miller & Amanda E. Johnson, Mented was formed as a vegan, cruelty-free brand to expand the concept of inclusivity in beauty.

After a battle with breast cancer, Cashmere Nicole became more conscious of the products we put in and on our bodies. She founded Beauty Bakerie to reflect her passion for high-quality, hydrating ingredients.

Underwhelmed by options for sun protection for women of color, Shontay took matters into her own hands by creating an innovative formula that eliminates the white residue in sunscreen so melanated women can feel good & look good. 

Inspired by her abuela, who taught her it’s easy to go from natural to glam with the right products, Jessica Alba created Honest Beauty, a line of high-impact makeup & results-driven skin care made with clean, cruelty-free ingredients.

Calvin Quallis’s passion for helping men feel their best was born out of his experience as a barbershop owner and as a kid in his mom’s salon and barbershop. He created Scotch Porter to serve the needs of men with diverse textures.  

After building a successful barbering career that included a celebrity clientele, Eric "Pacinos" Roa created Pacinos, his own line of high-quality men’s grooming products that brings the barbershop to you.
